This is by far the best mat I have ever purchased!!! 1st it was packed nicely, even came w a nice gorilla sweat towel as a gift for my purchase (was not expecting that so it was nice). came on time and for the price you cant beat this. size is perfect and this mat is beyond amazing. its durable, stays in place, doesn't fold up or get in your way. has great traction and is soft like but sturdy enough for any workout...I lift weights on it, place heavy weights on it and the indentions of the weight on the mat disappear when you take them off. if your looking for a mat, please purchase this gorilla. I've used a lot of others (usually dont hold up like this one) as I'm a personal Trainer and I train all my clients on this mat and its holds up to its name...I was NOT given anything free for my review this is all true, and in fact I don't leave reviews often at all but this mat makes me so dang happy I had to leave a one, a good one too bc I want others to know this mat is legit. thanks to the seller for selling such an amazing product at an affordable price!!!

Larger than a basic yoga mat, and rolls up neatly (with Velcro straps) to tuck out of the way. Nice and thick, with lots of support for my tailbone!

I love that this mat is no slip for doing yoga and pilates. It's comfortable and fits perfectly for my workout sessions.

Finally added photos from when it arrived.******************************************************************I was apprehensive due to cost and the negative reviews, especially about the durability. However, this is a purchase that has made me very happy*I love the cushion factor (compared to a regular yoga mat)*My hands and feet don't slide at all on this mat (as I did on my regular yoga mat)*So far I have not had any issues with durability, but I use it solely for exercise/yoga and I do keep out on the floor most of the time, but I don't casually walk on it*My only wish is that I would have bought blue instead of black, and maybe a larger size (XL?) although this one (Large) is plenty large for my 5'4" frame. This isn't a size you would probably take to an exercise class or studio, but for home it is awesome!*I have experienced NO off gassing chemical smell with this product as I was worried about based on someone's review (I believe this product is made of all natural material based on what read on the company website, can't recall for certain).*The mat came well packaged, but not in a box... a large yoga bag with the labels on that bag. I was in new/unused condition as it came from Gorilla Mats, not some 3rd party seller (well...I guess amazon fits 3rd party seller..so maybe I mean 4th party seller?)*This product makes me very happy and it is nice to say I have had no regrets about the product or the cost. It has exceeded my expectations so far.

Great protection from hard floors and can be used along for working out or with other yoga mats. Top surface is textured, so not as durable as other gym mats. Just don’t let pets lie on it and rip it up with their nails!

I workout at home and was looking for a sizable mat that I wouldn’t have to turn sideways to do weighted lunges or yoga poses. I saw one of the YouTubers I work out with uses this mat so I took the chance when it went on sale and it did not disappoint. I use this mat many times per week and it has held up nicely. It is large so it can be a little cumbersome to roll up and secure with the Velcro straps but other than that it’s great. I lift weights, do dance workouts, yoga and cardio. I’ve worn tennis shoes on it but I usually go bare foot. This mat has a nice amount of cushion and grip as well.

I purchased this mat for yoga. I must say that this is a great exercise mat, but I am giving three stars because it wasn't what I was looking for. It's great quality, sturdy, comfortable for exercise, non slip, and would be perfect for doing things like sit-ups or pushups, etc. However, I purchased this mat for yoga, and I returned it because I felt that it was not good for it. The material isn't "sticky" enough for holding your bodyweight on your bare hands and feet in several different poses. My hands slid around too much when trying out a basic downward dog pose (and, mind you, my palms were dry and not sweaty or anything like that). So while the mat is indeed thick and comfortable and good for exercise, it was not what I needed for yoga.
