Ingredient Discrepancy
Be advised that the picture of simple ingredients depicted for this product is NOT accurate; the bottle received lists several food additives (disodium ribonucleotide, disodium succinate) and synthetic dyes. This false advertising is unfair to the consumer, especially those with allergies to certain ingredients. I should have just made my own furikake mix at home. Shame on the manufacturer, seller, and Amazon!!!

Where's the wasabi?
Top line: Great tasting, if a little pricey, rice topping. Wish the wasabi flavor was stronger.Good: This furikake is quite yummy, and the perfect topping for my breakfast ritual of tamago kake gohan (aka, rice + cracked raw egg). Adding about a teaspoon to your plain rice or pasta makes for one tasty bite. The wasabi flavor, when I get it (see below) is good, and gives just an extra kick. Salt flavor is distinct, definitely of the seaweed variety and not table salt.Bad: I don't get much wasabi flavor in each bite--instead, maybe one out of every three bites. Disappointing since I expected this seasoning to have a much more distinct flavor than the default furikake flavor. The value doesn't seem particularly great either. Using 4-5 times a week, maybe I'll get 6 weeks out of this? Wish there was a bulk option.Other: There is a very very large desiccant packet inside (a preservative). FYI if that kind of thing freaks you out. (=

Strong smell, wouldn’t use again
I bought this to flavor some homemade onigiri. I hadn’t used this before and I saw some guy on YouTube use it in a recipe. I thought it looked cool and I wanted to try some. I ordered three different kinds and yeah, I’m not a fan. To be fair I’m not familiar with this seasoning at all. This could be how it is, and I was just unaware. But WOW does this have a funk to it. Very, very pungent smell. I took one bite and had to spit it out. My dog wouldn’t even eat the rice with this on it and he loves rice. So I will be returning the others I ordered and swiftly tossing this one next trash day.

Sweet, not spicy
We enjoy all kinds of furikake. My kids love to put it on their rice, and in nori rolls. The name of this type of furikake is misleading. With Wasabi in the name, one would easily believe they were buying something with some kick. Not at all. This furikake is sweet, with a mild seaweed flavor. I prefer Nori Komi over this type, however, I still eat it. Regardless, I believe this sweeter furikake has it's place at the table. I simply use it sparingly. To really illustrate what the other negative reviewers are pointing out:Wasabi Fumi - 1 Tbsp = 2g sugarNori Komi - 1Tbsp = 1g sugarWasabi Fumi contains double the sugar of another popular type of furikake, also available on Amazon. I recommend buying several types and trying them all.

Name/Ingredient/allergen info incorrect
As others pointed out, ingredients/allergen info do not match pictures on the page. For the lactose intolerant, this product has milk listed as allergent. Also, the item listed was Wasabi Fumi Furikake, item arrived and the label says Wasabi Flavored Furikake (don't know if that accounts for the different ingredients).

YUMMY!
It's a tad bit on the sweet side, but decidedly delicious on rice as well as on steamed veggies. This particular furikake is a good choice if you haven't tried the product before. Afterwards, you can branch out. There are many varieties to choose from.

Wasabi rice flavoring.
Wasn’t sure I was going to like it, but I do. i sprinkle it on rice for flavoring and I enjoy it. Also used it on fish and scallops cooked and accompanied by rice. Going to come up with other uses for it. I know I will! Although it says WasBi it’s not hot, just tasty.
