Winegard RV-RZ85 Rayzar Amplified Portable Indoor HD Antenna , Black

The cable to our antenna in our RV had been compromised, thus the picture was bad.Not wanting to mess with resealing the roof after running a new cable, I tried this.Picture was good, easy to use and I actually purchased a splitter and also was able to connect to the bedroom tv jack and get a good picture in the bedroom tv as well.I cannot decide about getting a new rooftop antenna system, or replacing that cable so this works very well until I make up my mind.Actually I feel this is as good as any reception I ever had before, so this may well be my solution.Thanks!

Maybe it’s my location or situationThis higher end antenna wasn’t any better then my cheapest ones.Was hoping for more channels or something 🤷‍♀️

Bought this for my aframe camper.. Tried it in the driveway at home. First channel scan with the antenna laying on the bed,.. 20 channels, crystal clear. Next I put the antenna in the window.. kind of.. in the direction of a metro area with TV stations. I picked up 30 digital channels very, very clear and 1 analog station.. so so. I am about 10-15 air miles from most of these. The next day I went camping and was 40-50 air miles from these same stations. With the antenna up n the window and pointed in the general direction of the stations I was able to receive 21 digital channels with excellent picture quality and a couple of (not very good) analog signals. I am very happy with my purchase. I would have been pleased to receive three or four channels while camping.. so to get more than 20.. I was very happy. I also like the fact that this is portable. The suction cup mounting is perfect for my camper windows.

Received this as a gift a couple years ago for RV, AWESOME LITTLE ANTENNA , WE LIVE IN A WOODED AREA AND WE GET 9 STATIONS , 13 , 12 11 and several others clear picture, no interuptions , SO EASY TO WORK !! THIS IS MY SECOND ONE >TRIED OTHERS (LESS $$) WASTED MY TIME WENT BACK TO WINEGARD RAYZAR!!! ONLY HAD TROUBLE WITH ANTENNA RECEPTION AT BEACH !!

Works exactly as it should on our T@B camper. It is very dependent on which direction it is facing so, in the first place we put it (on the side of the camper) we immediately got 33 channels. We then moved it to the front of the camper and only got 6. You will also need to redo the auto channel scan each time you move it but that went through pretty quickly on our TV.Really happy with this purchase!
