5 Pairs Ladies Thermal Socks, Womens Warm Wool Socks for Winter, UK Size 4~8

These socks are made in China. I am trying to avoid anything made in China.They are very small and very short. There is no way they would fit up to a size 8.

They were delivered on time and the colours match the picture. They are thick and very comfortable, but they feel like acrylic wool (not sure if it says on the description). I have very cold feet always, and they definitely feel more comfortable in these. I would buy them again.

Overall, pretty good socks although not perfect.The great thing for me is that usually I have horrible indented rings around where the tops of socks go, but these tops are soft and very comfortable with only extremely light rings that is where they have stayed up ok. Some soft tops don't stay up but these do.The fabric took a bit of getting used to for me, it felt slippy for the first 2 or 3 days I wore these, but it is just that the terry loops are different to flat socks.They are just about warm enough, but I do still feel the cold more than with some other socks.The colours/patterns are really nice - they don't look new for long though.The fit is not great. My feet are size 7 so should be ok but the heel part is an inch or two short of where it should be - however this does not affect the comfort and the ankles are still ok. They seem to cling-fit so there is no bagginess around the foot.There is a toe seam that can sometimes be felt.They seem to wash ok on 40c.

These should be classed as unisex as they are ideal regardless of your sex. I'd say they would easily fit a UK 4-7.Originally I wanted some wool blend socks and went to John Lewis and Debenhams where the cheapest pair was just over £8, so at £8.79 for a pack of 6 these are an absolute bargain.Honestly if you've never owned wool socks you just won't understand, there is something so snug, so comfortable and warm about them. Combined with wool cardis and hot chocolate, these are one of my three absolute autumn essentials.These are thick and snug and feel more like slipper socks, minus the grippy part. They have a good amount of stretch in them, the inside is more of a cotton feel. While that will be a definite plus for most people, I like the feeling of the wool against my feet.The design is very unisex and these would be a perfect gift for a man or woman, boy or girl.In the package is three individual packs of two pairs of socks, so these could easily be split for stocking fillers or Christmas eve boxes.Personally I'm keeping all of mine. They are simply too good to gift.

Review update** After two or three wears of these socks, three pairs already have holes in them! Haven’t worn them for anything other than normal day use. Safe to say I’ll be sending back. Shocking quality for the price. Don’t bother buying!Not particularly warm or thick, but they do come in nice patterns and are comfy to wear. I would say they’d keep you as warm as cotton socks. If you’re looking for warmth, buy something different, like heat holders.

These are GREAT socks which keep my feet warm and cosy throughout the day. I get really cold feet due to poor circulation and always would need a hot water bottle. I dont need to use a bottle anymore as these work wonders. I use thicker ones at night, and these ones in the day as they fit nicely into most my shoes too and the colours are gorgeous!

Love these socks, I suffer with cold feet and have spent so much money on "warm socks" these socks are awesome, I ordered Friday, arrived Saturday, washed them straight away and dried them over the radiator and put a pair on today, my feet are lovely and toasty, I wore them with my boots when I went shopping and they weren't too thick. I highly recommend these socks and will probably by more!

These socks are soft and warm and nice colours, however....they bobble and she'd.....a lot. Half of the wool left the sock on there first wear, but they do wash well.
