Taylor's Eye Chantry Knife Sharpener, White

Best sharpener around. Since it is small and compact I leave it on the counter right next to my knife block and sharpen knifes before every use. Have tired other fancier looking ones that do not work as well. i like the fact that you can replace the blades.If you have good knives and enjoy using them this sharpener is a gem.

Very, very easy to use and produces sharp knives consistently. I've had my original for over 25 years. This one was a give for friendswho always had dull knives.

I bought the first one of these knife sharpeners at a little mom and pot kitchen product store in Florida about 20 years ago. I liked it so well that I bought 2 more for my mother and my sister. The first one still works great and my mother has passed and gave hers to my son. It works great also. When I bought mine they were only $45. I also bought another for a friend 2 years ago from Amazon and he uses his everyday

Purchased this as a Father's Day present. Dad had made several mentions about how much he liked my Chantry Sharpener any time he used it in the kitchen and was planning on picking one up for himself. Fortunately I beat him to the punch.As to the product, nothing to complain about. Very sturdy, durable powder coated finish. Keeps the edge on every knife I have from the $6 plastic paring knives all the way up to the 8" workhorses.The only maintenance I've done was to add some white lithium grease to the ends of each steel to keep them spinning freely.Would definitely repurchase if stolen by jealous family members.

My knives have never been sharper. It also sharpens my serrated knives and the product lasts a long time. After 20 years this is only my second sharpener

I used one of these sharpeners at a restaurant I use to work in and always sharpened any knife with no trouble at all, but the one I ordered from Amazon has been nothing but a BIG waste of my money. I have read and followed the instructions and I can't get this knife sharpener to work properly! I am VERY unhappy with this product!!

I got this sharpener as a gift for my daughter. I got a chance to try it out when I was visiting and was disappointed. She says it is just ok, but I find that a sharpening stick works better.It is difficult to find the right place to put the knife in, as it will not sharpen smoothly otherwise. (I am assuming ) Edges come out ruff. If I have to spend time finding the right spot , it does not do it for me . Or it just is plain no good ?I was planning to get one for myself also but I will stick to what I have. Maybe we do not know how to use it.... It should not be that difficult !!
