Inlet camshaft locking tool does not work with 208GTi, required heavy use of a hacksaw to make it work.

Great tool. Just the job for the diy mechanic to fix their own vehicles.

I got this to check the chain driven timing on my Citroen C3 Picasso with the 1,4 Vti engine the same engine they use in the BMW Mini and lots of other Citroen / Peugeot models like the 207..307 C4 C5.very useful as my Timing on the inlet side had slipped by just 1 tooth on the inlet camshaft sprocket i would only have found this out by getting this Locking Tool as it will only lock down when the 2 camshafts are Timed as they should be ie my car was running rough on tick over and the air pollution light came on and the car went into limp mode i tried lots of things spark plugs..coil packs..o2 sensors so when the engine did not come on and the engine was so smooth it was WELL worth the price for this have to have item.

Did the job required

Not a great product. The crankshaft locking pin didn't fit through the hole so had to be ground down and the handle on the locking pin broke off. The inlet camshaft locking tool was out of shape so the bolt holes didn't line up so had to put the tool on at an angle.

very imprecise

Bought this for my son for his mini and he was pleased with it. Does exactly what he wanted it for and comes in a nice case to keep it clean and all together.
