Flavor:Gin Barrel Aged Good things come to those who wait. We've partnered with a small craft distillery located just outside of Chicago to combine two passions: Organic pure maple syrup and fine spirits. As the maple syrup rests in previously used charred oak barrels it mingles with the spirit that once resided within. This syrup has a history. We've aged it in barrels that were previously used for aging gin, and before that, bourbon. It has been touched by two spirits and while the kiss from bourbon is subtle, the gin engages, imparting it's lovely tones of fennel, spice and juniper. Enjoy a true partnership of flavors

This didn’t even make it onto pancakes.My dad and I opened the bottles and finished it off with two shot glasses.Wonderful gift for syrup enthusiasts.The Bourbon adds a nice kick to the flavor.You definitely get the taste of spirits without the horrible hangover.

It didn't wow me...
I bought the single barrel one for 30 dollars, and for that much, I was expected to be wowed, but sadly I wasn't. Granted it wasn't bad, but it's not worth the money. It didn't have a robust flavor at all. The bottle looked beautiful though.
