Besame Cosmetics Brightening Violet Powder

This powder was advertised in our local paper. Yes, it does hide/ diminish circles under eyes, red nose....facial irregularities. But, not as much as I thought. Maybe because I'm "old"! Too much to hide!

I wanted to love this product as I had heard rave reviews on it. It's just loose powder in a lavender hue nothing too special. There is very little fragrance which I found disappointing. I do like the retro packaging and that was part of the appeal. I first discovered Besame cosmetics while travailing through Jerome, AZ in 2012, I purchased a lovely red lipstick by Besame and am quite happy with it but found this disappointing.

I have a hard time finding violet powder anywhere, and this particular powder is a nice quality. However, the size is too small for the price. Maybe if I was Barbie sized this would be more than enough powder for me.

I have used this same product for a while now. It is ok. I do not believe it really offers brightening and it doesnt really provide good coverage. It is a good basic.

Everything about this product is lovely - the packaging, the performance, and the delicious smell. It seems a bit expensive (hence I dropped a star on my rating) but a lovely addition to one's cosmetic repertoire.

This powder is amazing! It feels great on the skin and has made my skin look flawlessly smooth! It also brightens my face. It has taken years off my age, as well. I will be ordering another one as soon as I can. This will definitely be one of my "go to" cosmetics products that will be carried with me all the time.

I love anything violet. I'm not exactly sure how it enhances your complexion, I think it brightens, but the fact that it is violet and is a nice finishing touch after applying a light base I wanted to purchase it. The retro packaging that Besame uses for their products is absolutely lovely.
