Great image and colours but screen burning issue.
I use this monitor for design work mostly but play a few games aswell. Picture quality is amazing and the colours are great.I've had alot of issues with image burn, I got my first monitor replaced by MSI/Amazon due to this issue. The second one they sent me had the same issue, but I've worked around the issue by using the monitor at a low brightness. This is an issue but for me I'm happy using a low brightness as this monitor is so bright!Amazon have a great return policy, so I would recommend getting it and trying using it at a low brightness to avoid screen burning. You can always return it if that doesn't work for you.

A mixed bag: Panel is awesome, but does not feel like a 1000gbp monitor
Bought this for work and I really like the panel itself in all it's 34" glory. But outside that:* connecting via USB-C only outputs video, not power and data like other monitors (technically you get like 5W power, which I don't get the point)* the monitor fashions itself in white, but ships with a set of black cables (?????)* the shipped usb-c cable for video is rather short* the usb cable shipped for data is only usb-a, not usb-c. One more cable that I needed to find my own replacement.* the plastic on the back feels very flimsy.* that golden dragon logo is absolutely out of place on a prosumer product. this is an awful monitor for gaming -- very big and 60hz only. who are you selling to?* you can only update the firmware from windows, not linux or macosBasically, this does not look or feel like a 1000gbp monitor. It's a shame that the LG 5k2k monitor with the same panel is sold out everywhere. If the LG becomes available again, do yourself a favor and get it instead of this.

Support from MSI unwilling to rectify issues - Please read before purchasing. Avoid at all costs!
I purchased this monitor about 9 month’s ago and was happy with the quality apart from the ghosting on the screen in dark areas. The problem came when I had an issue with the monitor not waking from sleep and having to turn it off and on again to get a picture. This wouldn’t be too much of an issue if the monitor wasn’t £1000 + but did become annoying as I had it mounted on a desk mount which displaced it every time I did it.Thinking a firmware update might solve the problem, I followed the instructions and ran the update. This completely ‘bricked’ the monitor and it would no longer power on. I contacted MSI support and was told they would collect it and repair it.Not really wanting to ship it, I was told there was no other option. I packaged it in it’s original packaging and it was collected.A few weeks later, the repair company contacted me and sent photos of the panel being smashed!!It didn’t leave me like that but MSI have refused to repair it. After 3 months now, I still have no monitor and they now say I can’t even pay for a repair as they don’t have the parts??After much contact with their support, they are saying I have to send them photos of it working before I shipped it.Two things - Firstly, who takes random photos of their monitor for no reason? Secondly, I couldn’t take a photo of it working just before it was shipped as ,erm, it wasn’t working!!I’m now left with MSI refusing to repair or replace it and down over £1000!!I’ve been without a monitor for nearly 3 months and have been forced to start a court claim. This is a warning I needed to get out there as I’d hate for anyone else to be in this position. The only offer from MSI was to purchase a replacement for over £900!!Why would I risk being in the same position and another £900 + out of pocket. Please beware!!

Don't buy it if you want to charge your laptop through USB-C
Although there is a Power Delivery signal on the USB-C port, but 5V/3A = 15W will not charge your laptop. The built-in USB hub also needs an extra USB connection, so that port is "quite limited" == nearly useless. It's a fine display otherwise.

Screen burn image retention MSI PS341WU
Awful screen burn image retention, no reviews online for this screen, this is for future reference to anyone else buying. I had 3 screens returned and replaced each with the same issue
