Really cool product but it falls short in some cases
I have very limited experience with RGB strips and lighting inside of a PC. I recently built a computer and was going for a specific style; blackout parts dimly lit with a white light. The strips feel and look very premium, unfortunately the mounting hardware leaves a bit to be desired. The sticky pads are awful and didn't stick at all. Personally, I think the sticky pads should be completely omitted and replaced with mounting screws, which is how I ended up mounting my strips. After plugging into the LED header on my motherboard, and configuring the lights, I noticed that color purity isn't very good.In a lot of cases, this doesn't matter, but for my case trying to match multiple different white lights between my GPU, CPU cooler and motherboard lights; the strips were the most offset out of everything, having much more of a blue light than a pure white light.Ultimately it is a very nice product, and despite its shortcomings, I am still please with the results I can get.

It Works......Mostly
About two months ago, I bought this to complete my first-ever build inside a HYTE Y60. As you can see from the photos, about half of the strip failed. To be honest, I am too lazy to deal with getting a replacement β plus, the strip isn't too expensive so if I really want to, I'll replace it down the road. It was a pain in the rear to get installed, but the pain was worth it even if the whole thing doesn't work. I have seen many other reviewers state that this happened with their strips as well, so buy at your own risk?

Beautiful and well made RGB Strip - Issue
Using these for an air-cooled Fractal Torrent case. Very happy with the ease of installation and the cables included to fit a standard 3-pin RGB header.Edit: 1/11/2023I had to contact Phanteks and ask for one of the strips to be replaced. See second pic. They responded right away and a new one is enroute. Very happy with the follow up customer service. I'll continue to use Phanteks in the future and hopefully this faulty strip was just a QA issue.

Not bad, but need improvement
Picked these up as they seemed like the best option for adding RGB that has nice level of diffusion. The strips are kind of a pain in the ass to install, as others have said, the sticky parts aren't that sticky and there are few spots in a case that are perfectly flat to accommodate the squares. The lengths are alright in my Lian-li 011D and older Phantek Enthoo Evolv. I do suggest you measure first to know which of the 3 lengths to god with. The main issue is the quality. While they look great initially, after a year or so, they start failing. The blue light in all 3 of my strips has partially failed. My RGB is usually set to a synthwave pink/purple/blue rainbow in the ASUS Crate app. All the RGBs, mobo, ram, EKWB pump and waterblock would all sync great with these. Roughly year and a half later, they won't display blue unless i force the color to 0/0/255. Trying to force white (255/255/255) you get a yellow color instead of white or even a blue-ish white. Not sure where the failure is at.Will hit up Phantek since the warranty is 2 years and see about solutions. If there is a resolution, I'll update.

Updated, great if you have 5V ARGB header or get the Deepcool coverter!
Hi there! I'm your friendly moron who wants to help some fellow idiots out.UPDATE: Putting the update above my old post, it turns out I got sent a faulty system (which I had seen a few reviews about but it doesn't seem common. I also received a replacement the next day free of charge)I'm utilizing the Deepcool 12V->5V RGB converter and it works great! I only run static colors as the motherboard still can't manage multi colors, but I don't mind. Do note though, the converter will simply allow you to use these strips as static colors, you can only get multiple colors with an original 5V ARGB header to my knowledge. The strips look FANTASTIC, It's incredible how good they look. They range anywhere from a soft white light to a binding minty green that matches my oddball PC color. I love them and I plan to grab a pair for my SO.I would also like to mention that these are cheap if you have a 5V ARGB header, but the converter will run you an extra $15-25.Tips for the adhesive, PLAN PLAN PLAN> Plan out how you want to orient the strips, where exactly the adhesive will go, and be positive this is how you want it. As soon as you pull off the adhesive it will likely fail when placed down again (unless totally flat on the bottom of your PSU shroud or something). When you stick the adhesive pieces on hold firmly for 15 or so seconds to be sure it will stick.4/5 stars because I got a faulty system at first and the adhesive is questionableOLD REVIEW:TLDR: If you don't have a 3 pin header on your motherboard don't get these (or look into the deepcool converter if you REALLY want them but it's an extra $20-25)I ordered this without checking what kind of RGB header my motherboard (ASUS b450m TUF gaming plus) has, spoiler not the right one, and now I have a problem. I'm going to try the deepcool 3-4 pin RGB converter and update my review accordingly. As of right now, I was ballsy enough to try pulling a pin out of my 4 pin cable splitter (NOT my motherboard header) and it "worked" but not really. The strips turned on in splotches but it wasn't pretty, I wasn't really expecting them to work at all lmao. It was odd though, despite coming from a 4 pin 12 V header there were multiple colors showing up in the strips...not sure how or why.Regardless, these look like quality LED strips and if it doesn't work out for me I'll put them in my SO's PC. The only downsides for these are:1. They don't work at all for 12V 4 pin (maybe with an adapter, we'll see)2. The Adhesive they give you SUCKS and although the routing pieces are cool, it's kind of tough to find a proper place to mount the 90 degree turns (I just used a 90 degree turn to direct it and a flat mounter to actually keep it in place)

Look great, but awful to apply
I've had these strips for a couple months now.Pros:The good part about them is how they look. They look fantastic with no hotspots and are incredibly bright. They are individually addressable and, depending on your motherboard RGB software, have a lot of nice effects. They are also good value for money.Cons:Now for the reason why I wouldn't really recommend these:They're difficult and annoying to install. Seriously. I spent 2 hours doing this. The little sticky pads they give you (Of which were all stuck together in the bag, and which you have to INDIVIDUALLY APPLY) hardly ever actually stick properly to the interior of my NZXT h500 case. I had to get around this problem by pushing the strip into the gap between the glass of my case and the fan. Then there's the wiring. The only way I could get these to work was if I connected one strip directly to the other. I tried using the extension cable they give but it *didn't work.* As such, I'm left with awfully looking curved strips and a hanging wire. Also, the wiring in general for this thing is a mess in my opinion. In conclusion, they do actually look great, but the installation of them means that I can't currently recommend them to anyone.(Has this review helped you? Good, but not without their issues.
These are amazing looking RGB strips, the diffusion on them is far better than many other products I have seen. Included in the box is a Phanteks RGB connector to addressable RGB connector so you are able to connect the strips directly to any compatible motherboard with a 3pin 5v RGB headers and control them with softwares such as ASUS Aura, Razer Chroma or Gigabyte Fusion. The biggest problem I have with these strips, is that they are made to be daisy chained to one ARGB header but once I did that with my 2x 400mm set I noticed a massive drop in brightness, fine if you are using these highlight the edges of a component, but I was looking for something to throw a bit more light so I've ended up using only one strip on the top of my case (difficult to see in the picture as it's behind the fans).Pros:Very smooth RGBBright when used individuallyIncluded 3pin 5v connectorSupports multiple softwareCons:Very dim while daisy chainedNot enough mounting pieces for a 2 piece kitAdhesive is pretty weak, screw in place where possible.

Impressed by this despite the odd small flaw
Despite insisting I'd never go down the RGB route I wanted to add some lighting to my system after upgrading the case and most of the hardware so ended up with this. Some suggest the difficulty of installing this is complicated but for me it went pretty well.To start with, the sticky pads.....don't even let them or the surfaces you intend to stick them to touch your fingers. No matter how clean they are they will spoil its effectiveness straight away. Clean both surfaces, the back of the brackets and the surface you intend to mount, with Iso alcohol to remove invisible traces of dust and dirt and they will stick. Failing that a backup of No More Nails pads cut up will 100% work. 3M is almost enough but it's not the same as 3M which is used to mount dashcams to windscreens. (Update: I bought a second shorter one to add and the pads weren't as effective. Had to use No More Nails!).Other than that it's frustrating that the brackets don't fit within the profile of a fan, that is to say they stick out from the edge so if you have little or no clearance around fans then screwing them on isn't an option. Sticking them on worked however I don't know how long they will last in the summer when the glue will melt I suspect. The strip was easy enough to manoeuvre and took an hour to fit. That was including time it took to swap over a SATA connector though and moderate cable tidying so was no big deal.Installed the colours are more vibrant than I could have ever expected. It looks very similar to neon. Almost too bright at times and with some colours they need to be adjusted to be darker to change alter that characteristic. Animation of moving patterns is fantastic but I got this mainly just to light things up inside with the odd session of music with included light show!I didn't have the issue some mention of the light being dim when used in a chain. Mine is plugged into a SATA powered hub though which might be the difference.Overall worth the money for the difference it's made, close to 5 stars but sadly falls short.

Great RGB strips and value for money.
Great RGB strips arrived before the date shown. Does not come with instructions which was confusing but you can find a video on YouTube on how to install. Installation was very straightforward and they come with all the necessary parts you could need. These do not link up with corsairs icue lighting. They do link up with msi mystic light and have many options for brightness and speed.

High quality
The straight edge and corner pieces can be screwed in under your motherboard standoffs. This wasn't clear to me from reading other reviews but is exactly what I was looking for.You don't actually have to stick the lightstrip down with the adhesive pads as it sits neatly in the tracks you make with the accessories included. You can stick them down if you want however and are after a more permanent solution and of course the bonus I am talking about is irrelevant if you aren't sticking this strip at a right angle around the side of the motherboard. The size I purchased fits perfectly in this orientation however and seems to be what it was designed for.Lights are bright and diffuse perfectly. Really happy and looks very nice all synced up with Asus aura.Highly recommended.
