Awesome Mech!
Very fun build; it's articulated like an action figure, but stands sturdy on my desk without falling over. Comes with a bird, giant axe, rifle, and dagger. I loved the gold accents. Make sure you get the "Rita 2", it's the newer model.

Good but lacking.
It really is a good set. My son enjoys it even after a year of having it. But it doesn't stay together the greatest and he is constantly having to rebuild it.

Solid Build and Look
The media could not be loaded. I’ve put together the MyBuild Mecha Frame Sci-Fi Series Rita 2 and had a surprisingly good time with it. It’s intricate without being frustrating, and the pieces fit together well, making for a sturdy final product. The real fun comes after the build; it’s poseable, which isn’t something I expected but adds a whole new layer of enjoyment. It’s been a hit on my shelf, and I find myself fiddling with it more than I thought. For anyone into building and Sci-Fi mechs, this set is a joy – detailed, stable, and interactive.

A good set with some flaws
I purchased this set and the Keiji 2 set, so I'll be copy pasting this review with a few minor tweaks since I have the same opinions on both.First off the pair are really cool looking once you've got them built up, they articulate well and i just love that they're based on the book/manga "All You Need is Kill"Value for your money: I would say $24 seems a little steep for what you get, but comparing it to the $20 version, it's probably about right. There are some inconsistencies with the pieces themselves though, which include nicks, and improper fits. Some were a little loose and others too tight and had to be pressed in quite hard. With theThis Rita 2 5017 model had more flaws that Keiji 2 that purchased with it and its flaws were more prominent on flaws, such as one of the arch pieces I put on the shoulder - its mold must've been a bit sloped because it didn't sit right until I pressed on it harder than I should have. Then there's the connector pegs (pictured above) that were quite loose, if I tilted the build the arm would freely swing. To fix this I used official Lego ones that keep the arms in place. The 2nd picture above also show a piece with an off center that made it difficult to snap on a flat piece. All that being said: I really like this model and will buy more, I just think that the quality control should be higher.

This is a Good Collectible, NOT A TOY.
This thing is great, I gifted it to my dad for fathers day, and it worked really well, he is going to put it in his office. Now, onto the "NOT A TOY" part, To all you not so smart parents who bought this as a toy, That's not what it is for, Its for Decoration, Its not an action figure immediately just because it has movable joints, Its not for playing, So stop saying, "Falls apart easily" Its not for small aggressive children, Its just something you pose once and put on a shelf or in your office, not that hard. (NOTE: Just because something is Lego doesn't mean its automatically for kids, its for older people who want a cool collectible in their office.

A new challenger approaches.
Smooth pieces and clear instructions. I love builds that are fun and creative. And putting this together was so enjoyable.People mention that it comes apart. Yea it does. It’s a brick set. Pieces detach and can be put back on. But mechs get damaged in battle. The piece that falls off the most is the battle axe at the back. Not really a big deal. The smaller pieces are mostly tight fitting with an exception to a little piece on the shoulder which I found popped off when posing. It’s not much of an issue the piece only serves to gild it. So I glued it.Is it worth 24? Sure is if you like brick toys and mecha. And if you don’t. It’s probably not something you’d buy anyways.I got this and kenji 2. I’ll buy the others for sure.

Surprisingly Decent
I am very impressed with the quality and presentation of these sets. Packaging is very well done, instructions are clear. The pieces are very difficult to distinguish from LEGO in terms of quality. Fitment of the bricks and ball joints is probably a hair less consistent than the "real thing" but I didn't have any problems. I could see the ball joints getting a little loose over time but for the most part they seem solid. The mech designs are really cool and they come with plenty of extra pieces to modify as you see fit. I bought 4 different sets and I'm already thinking about buying all the rest!

A great idea, but...
I got this set a few years back, with mixed opinions... First, the mecha looks fantastic. A really good design. The frame allows you to "cheat" the blocky part of making a small mech with construction bricks, with the possibility of adding a mini figure inside a very small build. After opening a really nice packaging and a very good looking manual, you see the lesser quality of the pieces themselves. This mech has a satin glare that would look great with a better molding technique, but sadly, feels way cheaper than Lego once you use it. Other than that, I think is a great effort. These are not cheap, I consider they can lower the price a bit, but at regular price, there are better and cooler options of buildable mechs.
