When I tried them on it did feel a little weird especially with no arch support on my feet but after walking around in them for a little while it was okay. All I really have to say is you need practice and that they aren't the quietest shoe, especially in a doctor's office.

Size up a little more than you think. I'm size 9.5 and got what was supposed to be 9-10. As you can see, it fits closer to size 8.5 even though the label is correct.

I bought these in size 11 which where way to big but my thinking was they would be more sturdy. I definitely didn’t need to worry they are well constructed. I ended up wearing them all day doing a costume outdoor escape room. Only issue I had was going up and down stairs. Highly recommend but just order your actual size :)

Geta fit well and are comfortable and seem well enough built for the cheap price.The socks are thin going slightly transparent when worn and make the geta feel like they are made of ice, pretty sure I'd break my ankles if worn together so just disregard the "Tabi" socks.Can't comment on durability as I am yet to use them fully.Overall will suffice for the costume I'm using them as part of so happy with the purchase.

I've been wearing these around the house as my main house shoe for about... 2 months now? When I first put them on it took a bit to get used to walking with them but I'm pretty expert level now, capable of running down narrow stairs.I listened to the advice on the reviews but something about the way they fit bother me, so I did some research and apparently they're meant to be worn with the heel of your foot slightly going over the back, it improves the balance and gives you more control.I think the socks that came with it are adorable but I keep falling out of the geta when I wear them together, hahaha.My favorite part of them is slipping them on as soon as i get out of the shower/bath. It keeps water from getting on the floor and they keep my foot in sturdy.the golden attachments that hide the knots have both fallen off at this point from hard use. Though that doesn't change any of my love for them, if anything, it makes less noise when I walk.Oh yeah the noise.. they're kinda noisy if you just walk in them without caring for quietness, I wouldn't recommend in an apartment building or anywhere with people living beneath you.I've walked outside with them in rain, sand, and snow, and they stand all testsI was thinking of re-ordering a slightly smaller size because I think it'll give me better control over my steps, though I'm still find with these.I know they're geta for men but I don't like the female geta shape.Also! they're kinda fall proof, like if i ever loose balance forward, the shape of the show makes it so there's a limit to how far I can 'fall'. Which makes them great for squatting down.So in the end, great quality for price, they are slightly scuffed but I've put them through it all, there's no evidence of them falling apart any times soon, and I'm thinking of re-ordering, so that's a good enough tell

A great pair of shoes to satisfy that strange urge/reason why you chose buy it in the first place!As a size 10 foot, these shoes only juust fit my feet (as can be seen in the photos). but that's no fault of the shoe itself as the pair I bought was the max size it came in. I'm sure it'd fit my feet fine if it came in a larger size.Also one small thing to keep in mind is that my foot rests on the shoe a little off centre (my little toe hangs off abit) and that's due to the design of the shoe where the shoe string knot is in the centre of shoe.Other than those points, the shoe itself is of great quality and comes with a subtle foam underlay on the bottom of each 'shoe teeth', to reduce sound when walking.If you're walking with a regular stride, there'll be lots of 'wood' sound produced but if you walk as they do in various anime/Japanese movies (ie, gliding stride) then you can avoid all sounds.

I'm US women size 8. I ordered a 7/8 womens/mens, it has a sticker of size 40 on it, but it's way too small. Because the toe post is positioned at quite far from the top, too much space above your toes but not enough space for the heels. I then ordered a 9/10, it's size 44 and this one fits perfect. I think it's quite well made. But it makes lots of noises on wood or tile floor.
