It's not too heavy and it's gorgeous!
So far we have used it for soup and baking bread. It's solid and easy to clean and everything has come out perfect so far. It is a gorgeous color of red with a black interior. They also added silicone pot holders and hot plate. Very nice. So worth the reasonable price too. Quick delivery and well packaged!

Heavy, sturdy, bakes bread amazingly well. The kind of thing that, with care, will last a lifetime
I recently bought Ken Forkish's 'Flour Water Salt Yeast' as part of an attempt to make my own sourdough bread at home, while in the lockdown we're all experiencing. The book says I need a dutch oven – so I looked around for a suitable candidate.Having seen many of the alternatives, I landed on this one, and while I was hesitant at first to purchase it, with a higher price, I'm very glad now that I chose this. It's big, really well made and heavy. It's enamelled and pre-seasoned cast iron meaning it's pretty much good to use and has great non-stick qualities. It holds heat really well, and the cast iron lid has little pimply things under the lid which serves to drop condensed moisture back on to whatever is in the pot.I use this for bread making a few times a week, and have yet to explore other things it can do, but I am very confident it can handle casseroles, curries, bologneses, stews and many other things you use a pot for with ease.If you're looking for a solid, cast iron dutch oven which will last a long, long time – get this one.

Excellent pot
Firstly this pot is a beautiful colour - I bought the red one and it's just gorgeous to look at. It's heavy (as you'd expect a cast iron pot to be!) but it's easy to use with big handles on the side. I've cooked pot roasts, stews & casseroles and I've also slow-cooked multiple larger joints like shanks/oxtails, etc and it's just perfect for all of these. The non-stick is excellent and makes it very easy to clean afterwards. I've used mine many times and it still looks brand new after being washed. Superb quality and value.

So far, so good . . . . but
My new skillet has arrived, well packaged and undamaged, gleaming red and black and full of promise for all the exciting cookery I'm going to do with it. I'm expecting good results and long service from a lasting, quality product. I'll come back later if my experience is other than top notch. But I was disappointed to find that, though apparently from a European source, it is in fact yet another product from China, and I'm trying to avoid buying from the land of the evil CCP. My other 'gripe' is that I've been unable to access the promised e-cookery book that would be so useful to this new user of a cast-iron skillet. I've followed the instructions but get nowhere except an invitation to sign up to Facebook, which doesn't interest me. Is there another route to the cook book, or can anyone recommend one for cast-iron cookery?Update: I emailed the supplier about my inability to download the e-cookbook, and they promptly sent me a copy to download, together with an apology for my troubles. I'm well satisfied, and happy to commend the quality of service.

Nice big, sturdy pot.
Good quality, heavy pot. Big enough for a large pot roast for a family. Silicon mat and handles were a nice addition.2023 update.3 years on and it still looks like new. No chipping on the enamel and no rust anywhere. It gets used regularly for casseroles, curry and pot roasts and works well on my new induction hob. It has turned out to be great value for money and I would still rate it as 5 stars.

Quality product!... And e-book?
I cannot believe how good this pot actually is. This is now my go to cooking pot. I really love it. Its super heavy, which is always a good sign and it distributes the heat really well. Nothing, I mean nothing gets stuck to the bottom unlike my other non stick pans. The silicone hand things are really useful as the handles do get really hot. It's a great size for a family one pot meal. I haven't used it in the oven yet but I will have to try it.... About the book, which I also didn't get, there was an envelope included with a link to an e-book however the link did not work. So a little disappointing.

Excellent value
Arrived in good time. Very well packaged and undamaged. Delighted with pans so far. I haven’t used them myself as I bought for my sons birthday. But from as far as I can see they look sturdy, have a great weight to them, well made - arrived as described. I am very happy with this product and I will buy from this seller again and recommend you do too. In fact I have bought their two skillet set and I am equally impressedThank you

For me, good buy
The cast iron pot and lid seemed a very good deal for me when I compared it with a much-talked about and known competing brand which cost more than twice the amount.Being cast iron the pot is quite heavy and so is the lid. I appreciated that a small silicone mat and silicone pads (to hold the handles) were included. They protected me quite well and look nice. The pot was very easy to clean. It's not Teflon but nothing has stuck on it just yet. Just a note that I will probably need to season it eventually as I have cooked acidic food (tomatoes) in it which slowly eats away the non-stick properties. (because of this don't stick in the dishwasher)I am just a hobby cook and find the distribution of heat very good and if looking at the above criteria can definitely recommend it. Hope these words help someone.
