Cheap but flimsy. You get what you pay for.
I’m not sure what I was expecting for a rack this inexpensive but it looked sturdy and welldesigned in the picture. It is a modern miracle how how lightweight it was in real life. The problem is that’s not the most important thing when it comes to a roof rack. The corner pieces are plastic and the bottom is aluminum. Not the kind are used to make Aircrafts and cars but stuff that looks like it would crack if you stepped on it. The worst part is how light weight send the top rails are. If you spread the weight out evenly on the rack I can support over 100 pounds. However the top bars are so weak that if your 40 pound suitcase hits it, it will bend.Instructions suck as usual. But I was able to figure it out in 30 min. The screws and bolts are all jumbled so you waste 10 min sorting. I didn’t return it because it’s not all the companys fault. All the specs are in the description. But when you see it you’ll realize why a thule cost 5 times as much. I don’t plan to abuse it but this rack is usable for a couple of sleeping bags and soft sided duffel bags.

Majority of rack Aluminum easy to modify, nice extrusions
I like the way the rack went together, however it was a little too big for a Jeep Wrangler. I cut 15 inches off the back side. Other modifications aluminum cross bars and three service lights. A quick check of the weight =25 lbs. this should give a greater useable load. Altogether rack, bars and tie downs under $200

Good basket after some effort.
Documentation misses a few important details so you will probably have to take things apart at least partially before you're done.Had to make brackets to attach to the factory rails. Included brackets were about 1/8th of an inch too narrow. Bent some flat stock in a vise and drilled holes to mount. Otherwise it seems sturdy but im waiting to see how it weathers.Still worth it for the price.

Flimsy, but does the basic job.
A bit flimsy, a few turns on a ratchet strap will bend the hell out of this. One peace came shipped with a dent, was able to install though. Instructions are a complete joke and raised a lot of questions, coming from someone who usually barely consults instructions. The 4x4 labeled bracket would have been less ridiculous without the 4x4 engravement.

Great rack, Terrible instructions
The rack is well made and perfect for my needs but the instructions are non-existent.

GREAT for the price
Very impressed how sturdy this thing was after putting it together. Instructions were not helpful at all. Overall, it's a great roof rack for the price you pay.

Nice rack but fasteners may not work for your rails
Really like the rack, it is of a sturdy aluminum and looks sharp. What I was disappointed in was the fasteners to my car rails. The fasteners were to large and did not fit under my rail so I had to make fasteners.
