Purchased this for my two large guinea pigs. They were delighted! We have the Midwest pets cage, it’s not wise enough to fit completely from one side to the other but I linked some hooks together and it’s great. They investigated for a few minutes and hopped right in. It’s now “the place to be!” Makes me so happy when they cuddle up in it, I’m happy to give them a place to huddle up. PS, it’s great in the wash. Fades a little but that’s to be expected. Will buy again.

I don't know what it's like to sleep on this product since I am in fact not a rat or other such small animal. However, my rats can be found sleeping on the soft inside or the cooler top level. This hasn't made my other hammock obsolete, but they use both about equally. They like it, so it must be good. It's easy to clean and seems durable.

Works great!! The guinea pigs now have an artillery device in their cage. They protect their habitat by using this hammock as a sling shot. They place uneaten food, toys and waste material on the hammock then either jump on it to fling it at adversaries or actually pull it back with their teeth and let go of it letting the projectiles fly. The cat has lost one eye to this but believe he has learned his lesson.

We got this for our pet rats and it's great. So far they haven't chewed it up.

Jack is a bit for a guinea pig, I never thought he would climb into this hammock, not only he climbs but he also loves sleeping inside. I wash in the machine with other similar of his fabrics. A winner and will definitely buy another one once this is getting too old

I was so pleasantly surprised by this bad boy. The fleece material is incredibly soft AND the kind that my boys won’t immediately start chewing on. The print side (I got the watermelon) is pretty thick and tightly woven, so if they do decide to chew on it, it’ll take a while to get apart. One of my boys did manage to chew the thread of a seam to get between the fleece and print fabric, but the rest of it is compensating very well for his new pocket. Also, the straps that suspend this from the cage walls/ceiling are well made as well. I’d say it’s kind of a woven, canvass type material, but it’s sturdy nonetheless. Even with a busted seam, it’s held up nicely in the wash as well. Over all it’s a pretty great hammock for a great price and I’ll absolutely be buying more

If you are an animal hoarder like me... then you'll love the fact that these little hammocks are great for all small furry pets and birds. In fact, my birds LOVE them to hang out in and to sleep in at night. The only negative I noticed was that after washing (machine or by hand), the fabric colors fade quite a bit. One of the push-pin hole openings (not sure of the technical word...) came detached after machine washing once. Because of this, I'm washing them only by hand. Other than that, these would have been a definite 5 star!!!Also, if you are getting these for guinea pigs, by pigs just found them a great place to poop and make a mess. It may just be my piggies.

I have two guinea pigs they both love this thing. I wish I had a bigger cage for them so Id have room for two but one gets on the bottom and the other one hangs out on top so it works out for now. Great price as well compared to some other ones I seen on Amazon. I will buy another one when I extend their care for sure.
