Great fit for furnace/air conditioner. Really catches dust
These work great, you just have to be sure to replace them every 2-3 months because they do collect a lot of dust. My HVAC service tech said they were the perfect thing for good air flow + dust removal. He said that the higher MERV filters can really restrict airflow and cause strain on the system. These give great airflow while really catching a lot of dust. Of course, higher MERV filters will catch more, but I'd rather keep the air flowing and not have to replace the blower motor.

They fit!
I see many mention these are not exactly 24x24. For years we used cheap 3" filters for our 2 furnaces and they fit fine (now learning about filters they didn't filter much!) Since the pandemic hit and we had to get both furnaces replaced.....at the same time! $$$ I learned much more about MERV. Got some 3M but I had to bend and hammer them in as it seems the space isn't exactly 24x24. Our space for the filter is a little smaller. When looking for a different filter I found the reviews here saying they were a bit smaller (and in a lot of cases too small for others furnaces) BINGO! Hit the jackpot! Just replaced and they fit perfect for us!Even though I just put new ones in I ordered 2 more. Always good to have on hand in the spring with allergies etc.

Quality, lasting filters.
I’m extremely pleased with the quality of these filters and have purchased them for other family member’s households.

Smaller micron rating than any baloney 3M rating scale.
Pros: I bought this because (at the time of writing and shopping around online) 3M's filtration scale only goes to around MERV 11 or 12, and a lot of important airborne particles can flow through their lower quality products. This filter does not restrict the flow much more than a cheap-o MIRV 5 filter.Cons: This filter is not as stiff or as sealed around the edges as I would like, but it is still good for the value. Occasionally I find that improper sealing leads to the HVAC pulling in unfiltered dirty air from around the square filter. We are still waiting for an acceptably priced ULPA filter to replace our outdated 'True' HEPA systems.P.S. If these or a higher filtration filter media like MERV 13 to 16 restrict your airflow, multiply the number of intake vents that you can place filters in with a DIY drywall and framing project or get an HVAC contractor to do it. A fully trussed filter frame on the intake side of the HVAC blow can handle up to 5 filter surfaces, or less if you want it to be easier to access.

Perfect fit, work well
I learned that standard 24 x 24 x1 filters are a tiny bit too big for the opening in my furnace so it was great to find these slightly smaller filters! They work great and really help get allergens out of the air!

Perfect
No issues. I needed this size filters for the new apartment I moved into in Miami. Very easy to replace. Fits perfectly. I have had no issues.

Not so much like the VIKINGS of yore is NordicPure...
I was willing to buy a case of the NordicPure air filters without having tried one because of the very good reviews about their quality and longevity and how well they filter the air, even in homes with four-legged people. Ragdolls, allergies and the humidity of our nearly year-round (spring/summer/autumn) NOLA "days of steam", made me look forward to having a quality filter that I could not get at Blowes' or Home Cheapo (I came up with " Blowes' " after reading "Home Cheapo" from another reviewer-- it made me laugh!) I pulled a random filter out of the case of 7 NordicPure filters, dated the filter and placee it into the slot. Changing my A/C filter is ridiculously easy: there are two small screws and the grate opens; there has never been a challenge in removing the old filter and installing a new filter within seconds. But, not this time...the Nordic Pure filter was so flimsy, it CRUSHED AND BENT IN SEVERAL DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS. I was shocked because I HAD NOT "MANHANDLED" THIS FILTER!!! I handled it no less firmly or no more firmly than I ever handled an air filter in the past. I finally got it placed in the slot and closed the grate. The next day, my house was HOT and when I looked at the filter grate, I could see hair and dust accumulating. So, I turned the two screws and opened the grate: The &@#!ed FILTER HAD BUCKLED AND WAS "SUCKED INTO" THE BACK OF THE SYSTEM!! So, there was, literally, NOTHING FILTERING THE AIR FOR SEVERAL HOURS. The buckled filter being useless, after only 2 days, I was forced to replace the A/C filter. I am very, very displeased with the lack of quality construction and lack of durability of this product. I firmly believe in the adage of "you get what you pay for" and Amazon Prime always helps me pay less and get more. But this product which is pricier than the "average" filter touted itself as a superior product that would last longer than than the standard 1 month. What a joke: the first filter did not even last for 1 day.
