I will order from them again and thank you!My review I wrote: bottles had very little shelf life left. Stamped on the bottle was FABR: 18/10/22 VENC 18/10/24 I assume the first was when it was bottled and the later was when it is best by. These are much more orange in color than a previous order I made months ago and the liquid seems thicker. The color of the previous bottle I had ordered was more of a yellow color and has a V: 29/08/25 stamped.

My Ex brought back a couple of bottles of this from Brazil back in 1976, after she had been in Rio for 10 months on a teacher-exchange program, and I’ve been keeping my eyes open for them since then, mostly without success. They’re moderately hot, and you can use just the vinegar to season your food if you’d like. (I like both the vinegar and the chiles, which have more heat.) The variety has a very particular flavor; I don’t know of any other chile which tastes exactly like them. Terrific on a bowl of feijoada completa!

These are tangy, sweet, and peppery. Habanero-level of heat. The only negative here is the plastic stopper in the bottle is a pain to get out, and it *has* to be removed to get anything from the bottle. Once it's out, the lid will no longer seal. I just dumped both bottles in a mason jar.
