Does lc single mode need special tools i have strippers and cutters for fiber does it need a crimper?

Use of crimpers will be determined by the terminal connector used. some use glue.

Does this need special tools to attach or can it be done by hand? If need special tools, what do you recommend?

These require a crimper to fasten the fiber to the connectors. I had issues with these. I ended up using leviton cat 49991 msc hand instsllation.

How are they attached?

After you prepare the fiber (removing clad and clean fiber with Isopropyl alcohol) Cut back the Kevlar so you have about a 1/4 - 3/8" left and then as you slide the fiber up into the connector make sure the Kevlar slides up and over the barrel on the cable end of the connector. Once the fiber is up through the opposite end, slide crimp sleeve up and over the Kevlar and then crimp the sleeve. This will form a tight hold on the Kevlar and bond to the connector. Once that is completed carefully scribe the extended fiber with a diamond fiber scribe and then pull the excess end off. This will give you a good serviceable fiber connection. Note: make sure you remember to put the rubber cable end and then the crimp barrel over the fiber before you prepare the ends.. Then trim the Kevlar back to the length you want and then prepare the fiber end itself. Good luck

Are these installed with epoxy no crimp

Yes, you need to cleave and clean the fiber, introduce the fiber in the FERRULE and finalize assembly with the ring and Crimp
