My Big Truck Book (My Big Board Books) Board book – Illustrated, May 10, 2011

My grandson is 18 months and LOVES this book! We take it everywhere. We go page by page but when he gets to the Fire Trucks page, his attitude changes. He makes the most excited sounds, then gives me a kiss. I kid you not! He loves Fire Trucks. I’ve taken him to several Fire and police houses and he relates to the pictures. And the firemen and police officers are thrilled to see his excitement! I noticed this company has other books like the Truck Book which I will be ordering. Get yours today. Your toddler son, grandson, nephew or the neighbors boy will love this book!

This is a very nice, large, sturdy board book with brightly colored pictures of real vehicles. It covers, pretty much any kind of work type vehicle, from mail trucks to emergency vehicles to earth movers. It was a big hit for our 3-year-old great-grandson's birthday. After opening this book, toys were left abandoned. Highly recommend.

For Christmas, I gave this and a set of trucks to my 3 year old neighbor boy who just loves seeing, playing with and talking about trucks! His parents sent me a picture of him, wide-eyed and mesmerized, as he purveyed the vast display of colorfully-pictured trucks in this large and sturdy book.

This is my son's favorite book. He's 2, and really into "big trucks", and this book was perfect for him. He will pull this book off the shelf nearly every day for us to read it to him. He can point out what most of the vehicles are ("Show me the airport fire truck"), and when we are driving someplace, every so often he'll sound out, "LOOOK! A fuel truck!"It literally is a book full of pictures of vehicles, with their name under it. We've turned it into a game, calling out the name and having him point to it, which is a source of great fun for him. He's at the point where he can turn the pages to find the vehicle you've named... its pretty impressive. The book is very well constructed, and has been through a lot of use (and some abuse) and has come through it with very little visible wear.I'm very glad that I got this for him, and I will use this as a gift for my friends with small boys in the future. I'd recommend it to anyone who has little ones who are into trucks and vehicles..

My toddler loves this book. Easy to turn pages, big real life pictures of not just your typical trucks but less known and talked about too.

This is a big bright sturdy book whit colorful pictures of real trucks, my son loves trucks and he can read his book for long time (I consider 15 minutes long for my 3year old) and just go over and over at this point he had memorized all the names, he has several trucks, transportation, machines etc..kind of books and to be honest, almost all the books have the same pictures but he loves a new book! and this one is nice.I just got this book, it is a 2011 edition and the error mentioned in another review about the "tractor plow" had been corrected and it reads "tractor and disc".I will say that my favorite transportation picture book is "Let's get moving (My first DK publishing)" it has more vehicules not only trucks and 28 pages insted of just 12, it's smaller and not as sturdy but it has hold on.

Got this as a gift for my two year old and it's now his favourite book. Pictures are big, detailed and clear. It includes a good variety of different large vehicles, clearly labelled with their names. Great book overall.
