Good Internet radio for the money. Using the AirMusic App makes setup a snap.
It is a good internet radio especially considering the price. Sounds great but I mostly use it to listen to NPR in a place where I get bad reception.Setting up your wireless internet connection is not hard, but after that going through all the menus on the small screen is not easy. I would download AirMusic Control app on your phone and continue doing all your setup from there. It is a piece of cake. There is a QR code in the menu of the radio but you do not need it. The AirMusic Control app automatically searches your home internet network and finds the radio. The app I think is connected to the website portal, but I found the website to be a nightmare and does not seem to download or connect to the radio even after it says it has connected to the radio by the serial number you enter. The Air Music Control app does very well. If it weren't for it being able to setup the radio I would probably give the radio 3 stars.

Solid Radio
Okay I have been using a wifi radio since 2006 I mostly listen to Old Time Radio. This radio is very easy to use but with that said you must realize you have to enter your wifi code and search through a number of drop down menus to find the stations you like. It takes a little time to get it set up the way you like . I could not use the app on my iPhone but am able to use Bluetooth. One thing I would like to change is that after a certain amount of time the clock would come up instead of only showing channel playing while radio is on. I listen at night and this is very bright even on the dimmest setting. The sound is good for the size I listen using a pillow speaker through the head phone jack this set up works well. I am pleased with the radio it is a good deal as far as I'm concerned.

Defective
Purchased the radio for $65. On the very first day it was turned on it started shutting off randomly and restarting. Continued doing that with more frequency and I contacted the company for a resolution. Followed their directions for a reset to solve the problem but it was pointless. Contacted them again to send a replacement (the unit is now $90!) and got an email back that they’re on holiday. Bottom line - don’t purchase this product from this company.***update - the price of this item fluctuates randomly from $65-$95. It’s been weeks and still no word back from the company.

Works Well Except for the Buttons
This is the second Ocean Digital Internet radio that I have purchased. This is a less expensive model than the first one and lacks some features found on the more expensive model, like a remote control. I have had this for 3 months, so it has had a good test. All of the functions work well, including media streaming from a DLNA music source on my home network. This connects easily to my home network and is very stable. I did set this up with a fixed IP address, but that is really not necessary for those who do not want to fiddle with network stuff. With a little practice, navigating the menus is reasonably easy, although the screen is pretty small, so you have to view it at close range.I purchased it on sale for $65 at holiday time, which was a fairly good value. Not sure the current $100 is a good buy.The only thing I do not like about this unit are the front buttons. They are absolutely flat and do not protrude at all. They are fairly small and bit difficult to find and press, particularly if you are in a darkened room. Other Digital Ocean models have protruding push buttons and are much easier to use. What would be ideal would be a protruding on-off button with a very dim LED light, which is what some clock radios have.

The remote app is not relaible, terrible user inferface without it
I have another Ocean Digital Wi-Fi Internet radio which came with a separate remote control. I gave this one as a gift and it is very disappointing that is did not come with a remote control. The phone app remote control is not reliable because the blue tooth drops all the time. Without the remote control, the user interface is very user unfriendly.I would like to buy a remote control but they do not seem to be available.

Life changing best purchase I’ve made in years
I absolutely love this radio . It’s very intuitive and easy to program . I can now listen to music and news from around the world in tons of languages... if I want to !! Never get bored of your music again, like I was ! You can search by country, region, genre, state, it’s so much better than streaming thru the phone . And when it’s off it’s unobtrusive, shows a clock face and the weather occasionally. It’s in my kitchen for when I cook, but lightweight and portable . I moved it to the basement and it reconnects automatically . I don’t see that a battery can be used . Just type in your WiFi password and have fun with it . Never gets boring and I’m loving music all over again .

VERY Disappointed.
Very user unfriendly when it worked and now, after a period of months, it doesn’t work. It shuts itself down and then tries-sometimes with temporary success to restart. It has trouble finding and then cannot seem to hang on to the Wi-Fi signal, its life’s blood, and won’t stay connected to a Bluetooth signal either. Waste of money.

Bad design and manual
all I want to do is set up 6 internet radio stations, Pandora, Amazon music. Figuring out the interface takes way to much of a time commitment. also the buttons are waaaaay to small on the front panel. After using it daily for over a month I simply have given up on adding features.Update: 6 months later of very lite use, the radio will not stay on for longer than 6 minutes. It was not a good purchase
