Great toy, affordable once more, but with a terrible box
The original Corgi Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car from the 60s is incredibly expensive if you can find one intact and with the complete packaging. This rerelease is a little more lightweight than the original, but it’s a fraction of the going rate, and it’s great to see it intact. The cardboard box it arrives is is inexplicably flimsy, though, and I would have paid more for a product with an archive quality package. This is the weak link in the overall product and it’s a shame that Corgi cut corners on this specific facet of this toy’s production. Otherwise it’s a great rerelease of a classic toy

Childhood memories
One of my all time favorite movies as a child. I had one of these cars growing up. I could not afford to buy a "used" original so I bought a new one.

Looks good and is well made. Made and sold in England, so delivery is slow. brings back memories of a great family film.

Well made!
Hard to believe my 56 year old husband asked for a toy for his birthday, but I got it for him, and he loves it. I thought maybe he'd stuff it in a closet as a collectible, but NOOOOO! He took it out of the box and proudly displayed it in the living room on a table ... next to a lamp and a candle, which I'm not thrilled about. The empty box went in the closet.It is very well made, and it arrived from the UK quickly and in excellent condition.
