Two thumbs up for this Giant Beanbag of Sloth
I am old. But I like to stay cool, funky fresh, yo diggity stylin' like the kids do on the intrawebs with their googles and pokeballs. So when I saw these giant beanbags all over the internet, I forgot I was 48, and suffering from the delusion that I was 21 still, I ordered it instead of a couch for my TV loft.I ordered the six footer. It arrived in a box marked 66 pounds. After getting it up the stairs by myself and reading the instructions, I was at first dismayed that I didn't find an inner liner. I bought this brand on purpose because I wanted an inner liner for the foam pieces so the cover would be easy to take off and launder. But my annoyance was short-lived as I realized the foam pieces were already in a liner and vacuum sealed.I waited the two days for the foam pieces to fully inflate, and my patience paid off. The hard part was pulling apart the foam pieces inside the bag - would have been nice to have had help with that and I still have lumps two weeks later but that's OK. I suggest having people over with big and strong hands to assist you with this task.It is big - I put a queen size fitted sheet over it and it fits very well. Keeps the cover from getting all dogged up with my St. Bernard. It shocks me that people are surprised it's big - what do you expect with a six foot round beanbag that tends to ooze out across your floor like a morphing sack of wet play dough? Of course it takes up a lot of room. It's a giant cloud of bliss and hugs that makes up for the love your mother never gave you as a child, and that kind of payoff is going to cost you some real estate. It is harder to maneuver than I imagined, and when laying in it it goes flatter than I thought (but bounces right back when you get out of it and fluff it.) You do sink very close to the floor when laying on this thing, so if you want something that will sit you up even half as high as a sofa, this is not the thing. The Giant Beanbag of Sloth reminded me I was 48 and not 21 the first time I tried to get out of it. Remember when you were young and could just get up off of the floor as if gravity didn't apply to you? This beanbag will remind you that those days are gone. Either develop the ability to roll out of it like a turtle getting itself up from being on its back, put a harness on your dog to assist in pulling you out of it, or have the fire dept on speed dial to extricate you.I was going to get so much done this weekend, but I underestimated the Power of the Beanbag (TM). It developed its own gravitational pull and sucked me and my 135 pound dog right into it (room for one more - bring beer). We were powerless against its forces! And I have a strong suspicion that the Giant Beanbag of Sloth is going to join forces with Netflix and keep us sucked in it all day today too! Don't send help.

Love this vs my buddies big Joe, recommended
I have to say I wasn't sure what to expect based on mixed reviews,, but now After receiving Iam super happy I took the plunge. This thing is huge, I got the 6 footer, was looking for a 7 or 8 but settled on the fugu bean bag with memory foam. This was bought for 2 people to sit comfortably and also if I lay on it length wise I fit perfectly with my feet hanging slightly. This things is so comfy it's insane, people giving bad reviews probably did t take the time to break up all the foam inside, yes it's kinda a pain but if done you will be happy on the outcome, at least I was. It took me about 30 minutes or less, but I did like 3 10 minute intervals while I was going back and forth cooking dinner. After 3 hours mine had risen pretty hight, but I wanted it to fluff up as much as possible, and kept spinnig and fluffing it a few times. After a few more hours, I decided to to put my pillow on it and test it out, I must of lasted maybe 5 minutes before I fell asleep and slept like a dream.Fluff it up and it goes back to its shape, almost like a gigantic barrel shape, I can sit on it in many different ways I get different postures from it, pretty cool, Iam a heavy dude tooovwr 200 lbs and iam stiill 2 to 3 feet from the floor, great foam padding. You alway have the option of adding more foam if needed, think iam quite happy as is.My buddy has a big Joe his is cool and all and might be a bit larger than mine, buts more like a giant flat donut without the center missing.,It's comfy to lay on flat but I can never get it to give me any back support if I try to sit, his might need more foam. This 6foot has a great shape to be able to sit in a few different positions with slightly different back support depending on how you sit on it, this is with my bean bag bag free standing not touching walls.I csn also put it againt my wall and it feels like a low sofa with a more upright sitting position.Super happyHighly recommended

Why did we wait so long to buy one of these?!
As you can see in the picture our two cats (20 and 16 pounds) discovered the beanbag almost as soon as we broke apart the foam pieces. We have to fight them for it. Needless to say we all love this thing! There are a LOT of different kinds of these amazing pieces of furniture on the web and amazon. Do your research thoroughly and you will not be one of those who gets the wrong kind. For instance, we wanted one that would allow both my wife and I to sit on it at the same time; and apparently our two cats. We also wanted one that got high reviews. We learned, through reading many, many reviews that we did not want one that had memory foam as the internal foam. Why not memory foam? It is the latest and greatest thing isn’t it? No, not for us anyway. So many reviewers complained that the memory foam bean bags had to be rolled and flipped every single use, as they tended to stay in whatever shape they were last used in. If you are the only person using it then it may not matter. However, I outweigh my wife by 50 pounds and even the cats leave their own small indentations when they use it. With Fugu’s, they use a special kind of foam and it doesn’t need to rolled so often. It makes it so much easier to use and these things can get heavy. Also, we thank those reviewers who reminded us to put the external cover (washable yeah) on before we break up the foam, much easier to do before it goes all poofy. Also, we read that you need to wait the entire 48 hours before using, AND to break up all of the foam, or as much as possible, in the\at first day. It comes as one solid block and it isn’t easy to break up so get as many people to help as possible; especially if they have big hands. One additional thing we did, we unzipped the cover about 1/3 of the way so we could break up the foam easier. You can do it through the cover but it is a little harder. Then, wait 48 hours and enjoy!
