Great product. Will not oxidize or rust. Excellent choice for harsh weather environments. Used two rubber mallets to install. One placed on vent to hold vent in place second to drive into opening. If opening too large use latex caulk as a sealant.

Dead simple. Drill holes. Add a bit of silicone to hold in place. Push in. Done. Used to add attic venting to my 100 year old house that simply depended on holes and air leaks before. The attic temperature dropped dramatically after installing and they were the only feasible way to add venting at the eves since there is no soffit on my house.

The bird block holes in my house must be a little oversized. I had to use a silicone sealant to keep them in the holes. The birds haven't been able to pick them out. And maybe 4 or 5 holes were undersized. I used a rubber mallet and a block of 2X4 to pound them in. Worked like a charm. It would be nice if they came in a 50 or 100 count package though.

They were a little too small but I made do with adding some sealer around the outside. Wish they came in a bigger quantity. "I needed thirty altogether" For $28.00 should had more!

Used it for my roof vents that had 2" holes. I have a ocean front home and the old aluminum ones tend to corrode real fast and these don't.
