For it's size & price, you CAN NOT beat the sound quality
For it's size is it worth the money? YESAs far as speakers of this size go (small mono/single speaker "ultra-portable"); there are some that get a little bit louder (which typically distort), there are speakers with clips/hoops & things to hang speakers from this or that (which can come in handy). However most of them do NOT sound as balanced as this speaker. I can say with no hesitation that it actually has really good sound quality (rare for a speaker of it's size), not "tinny", overly bassy or thin sounding (it does have some bass), the highs aren't to bright, mids are clean. Pairs super quick (at least it did for me on my laptop, phones & tablets..In my opinion this speaker isn't geared for "rugged" outdoors use as it does not have a rubberized casing/housing. I think it's designed more to have around to grab go "hangout" &/or use around the house cooking lunch or dinner (splash proof), light background music while reading, paired with a tablet & watch a TV show or movie etc....yes it has an IPX4 rating but I just don't see this thing standing up hard outdoor use such as a hiking trip (no clip included or a place for one) if it takes a tumble down a dirt path & dropped on rocks or to the playground with the kids & gets hit with a ball or a child knocks it off a table/bench & etc...not that it can't handle it, it might be able too I just wouldn't want to risk it getting banged up (the metal mesh grill WILL dent) as it actually does look & sound really nice. Although I can say I'm sure it can take on daily use of wear & tear as it does seem pretty solid. One side of the device is flat with little rubber "feet" so it can lay on it's side & does sound very good on it's side making it directional which is nice & it has little rubber feet on the bottom to stand upright giving it more of a 360* sound. It has no buttons or controls aside from the power/pairing button & an on/off switch hidden under a rubber flap accompanied by the AUX jack & USB port. It's SUPER easy to use & sounds quite incredible for what it is. I 100% recommend it

Tiny, economical rechargeable battery powered speaker
I was torn between a four and a five for this one, but decided that since I use it everyday I'd give it the nod for a five. This is my new favorite tiny portable speaker. It has a number of features that have pushed it past numerous others that I've evaluated.Pros:1. Sound: It's single channel (no stereo), but it projects a nice, clean sound that is loud enough for casual listening while cleaning dishes, doing chores, etc. It is not "party" level, but it's not wimpy. Compared to other small speakers in the class (Philips, Creative) this comes through loud and clear without gross distortion. Is it like listening to my 5+2 NHT home theatre system fed from the 175W/Ch receiver in my family room - of course not, but this one packs a punch for what it is. I can carry it to the garage, out back while painting, etc. and it sounds good when fed from my iPhone.2. Bluetooth connection: This unit passed my "easy pairing" test. That is, if I can pair it to my phone in less than a minute without referring to the instructions, then it passes the test. I was able to do the work in more like 90 seconds because there are two power switches on this device. One is hidden by the rubber flap that covers the analog audio jack, USB charging port, and the battery switch. This switch connects the battery circuit. Of course, this does not have a lot to do with BT, except that the unit does not work at all if this switch is not on. It won't change, won't play, etc. If this were not the case I would have had it paired in 30 seconds. There is an on/off, BT button on the outside of the speaker. You just have to press and hold it until the LED light for the BT blinks red and blue. I'm giving this a passing grade because I was able to do this without instructions, even if it took a bit longer to do. YMMV3. Smallness: It is not very big. Smaller than a small ("tall") cup of coffee at Starbucks.4. Nice ergonomics. It has rubber portions where it is supposed to grip the surface it is set on so it won't slide or roll inadvertently.5.. Appearance: It doesn't look "cheap". Looks nice and has enough weight to it that it feels like it has quality (yes, I know weight is not the best indicator).6. Analog 3.5mm jack as well as BT. If you want to save battery power and/or just don't have BT, this is still a great way to connect a speaker.7. Can be easily positioned sideways or vertically.8. You can hear some bass - not common with these smaller speakers.9. attractively priced.Cons1. See the discussion in section 2 under pros above. I think the main slider switch should still allow charging when the switch is off. As it is, nothing can happen with the switch off. This is different enough from other devices that I suspect many will think their battery is charging when it isn't.Conclusion.Great little speaker. i carry it to a lot of places now.

Great compact Bluetooth speaker - Update
Update again: today it works. The only difference is a storm is coming in today... Unfortunately this thing is unreliable but when it does work it sounds great for what it is.Update: Well that didn't last long. I didn't use it for a day and tried to connect it to my iPad, iPod and iPhone but they all say turn it on. They work with other speakers so I know it's not the playing devices. You shouldn't have to spend a great deal of time getting something like this to work since Bluetooth has been around a long time.------------------------------------------------------------------The TDK Mini came in an easy to open clear plastic box except the instructions and USB cable were in a box at the bottom that took a bit of twisting to get out. Easily paired with my iPad Mini. I opened up the Amazon music player and selected a Stevie Ray Vaughn album to play - sounded great even though this is such a small compact speaker. I rarely have any device close to water but this is weather resistant but not submersible. It can sit with the speaker pointing up or you can point it in any direction laying it on the flat side. Can be connected to standard audio port too. It does not have any device controls only on/off switch, USB and auxiliary ports.Overall a great sounding compact portable Bluetooth speaker.

Buen precio y excelente sonido
Excelente sonido, la he utilizado en la regadera y funciona muy bien. Sólo me gustaría un indicador cuando la batería ya está baja ya que sólo se apaga sin indicar nada como el resto de las bocinas tdk.
