I took this to a lake and drove it around a little. It felt like it was super fast and it runs insanely well. Overall if you're looking for a good boat, get this.

pretty good but only goes 15 mph.
It would be a good gift if you like somewhat fast boats but if you like fast boats I would get a different one because there are other boats for the same price that go faster. Also they don't say how fast it goes in the pictures they say it in small letters to the right of it which is also downside because I was wanting a fast boat and it looked faster in the video but it only goes 15 mph. Overall is a pretty good boat I just wish it went faster.

Save your money
Boat leaked on the first outing. Would not run after getting wet.I’ve owned two RC boat’s previously which were much more durable.

Works pretty ok
First unit worked great for 10 minutes, then lost rudder control. I think a bit of water got inside, but it can't be helped because the seal isn't great. Once water gets in the rudder twitches uncontrolled and can't be used to steer. Sent back, got a prompt replacement. Replacement is a bit better, but sometimes loses rudder control still (neither lose prop control, though, prop always works correct).On the plus side, the range is excellent, battery life good, and its pretty fun and quirky.

Goose chaser
I got this to chase geese out of my pond. This this is fast. Ricky Bobby would love it, and geese hate it. Charge it up and let er rip, tater chip.

Fast, fun, affordable RC boat!
The media could not be loaded. This is an awesome little RC boat! My boys (my husband and my eight year old son) both LOVE this boat! It's so fun to run up to the lake and zip it around for a while. Battery life is decent... You get about 10-15 minutes runtime (thankfully the lake is close by!). The remote lets you know when you're starting to run low on battery so you can bring it to shore. And the boat surprisingly goes pretty fast! We're going to order a second battery so we can spend more time at the lake each time! I would definitely recommend this RC boat if you're looking for something fast & fun, yet affordable.After reading some of the other reviews, I think an important thing to know is that once the battery is charged, the boat HAS GOT TO BE IN THE WATER in order to function!! If you turn it on outside of the water, it will be beep constantly at you as if it were malfunctioning. It needs water to work!
