Nice Steam Iron with Nonstick Plate
This iron is very well made and steams well when needed. It has an excellent ergonomic handle and feels very durable. The heat settings are good, and the cord is extra long if you want an iron with an extra long cord. I was careful not to trip over the long cord, but it is nice placing the ironing board away from the wall, and not directly next to the outlet. Good product.

Great Iron
This iron arrived today, and it is just what I wanted. My $95 Rowenta steam iron is going to Goodwill. I researched and read many reviews and decided to order the Sunbeam with Turbo Steam. It is lightweight and easy to use. The steam function works beautifully. I do suggest you read the directions and follow them. You need to do the cleaning of the iron regularly to maintain the quality. I am very pleased with this iron, and the quality for the money is wonderful. Sunbeam knows how to make great irons.

Difficulties Encountered
This iron is very attractive, but the blue color poses some issues. First, the blue is so dark that you cannot see the amount of water in the tank. Second, the temperature dial is printed in the absolute smallest lettering possible and, because it's directly under the handle, it's impossible to read. Third, the retractable cord opening is to the right instead of centered, which would give right- and left-handed people equal advantage to use. Fourth, my previous Sunbeam iron had a green light that came on when it was ready for use at the temp I needed. This one has a red light that comes on at plug-in and stays red. It's confusing to say the least. The retractable cord base is sturdy for setting the iron upright, but is a bit heavy and makes the iron feel unbalanced in my hand. I will keep the iron because it does the work I need, but these are difficulties to consider when deciding to purchase.

The BEST iron EVER!!!
Wow! This iron is incredible. Cuts ironing time a LOT. Steam is the best feature. I've had other big name irons and was sorely disappointed. Sunbeam knows irons. It heats FAST. Large water reservoir. POWERFUL steam pressure. Burst of steam works extremely well. Allows you to squirt water, too. Clear water view. Nice design. If the cord would be retractable it would be the perfect iron but I'm giving it 5 stars in spite of it because it exceeded every expectation. Don't spend more looking for something better--You won't find it. End your search here. I LOVE this iron. If it ever dies, I'll buy another just like it. NO regrets. If i didnt say enough about the steam--Let me just tell you it is POWERFUL without scorching. It's like the jet engine of steam irons. ~Don't be jealous of my iron! Great product.

THE BEST IRON EVER!!
OMG! I tried sooooo many different irons. Ok, first my husband picked one out for me. I forgot what iron he picked out, but I didn't care for it so I was glad when it blew out. It blew out because we had a faulty plug socket but didn't know it until a total of 3 irons blew out! Anyway, so then I got to pick out the iron I wanted in the first place, which was the Black & Decker Classic Steam Iron F67E. I wanted that iron because I don't care for the "space age" look that new irons have these days. The Black & Decker one looks just like "old school" that I'm used to. So I got that iron & I was so excited. Well, I liked it ok, especially the looks & how it heats, but it doesn't have a spray for water. I can't iron without one, plus I found out that the Black & Decker (as well as many other irons) contain chemicals in the cord that have been known to cause cancer. I've had cancer so I sent this iron back right away & was soooooooooooo happy I did because I found the iron of my dreams! I make masks so I definitely need an iron. This iron heats up really quick, has every, single feature I want & need, it's comfortable to hold & use, it's really, really pretty & the best feature I will never own another iron without, is the retractable cord. I LOVE THIS IRON!==I've been using this iron for a couple of weeks now. I STILL love it! I have found one irritating thing about it though, the dial. After you plug it in, you turn the dial to set the temperature. The dial is underneath the handle & it's hard to see & hard to turn. I can deal with that though. Other than that, it's still perfect!

Broke at 11 months
The warranty is not a 3 year warranty as stated on Amazon. It’s 1 year. And good luck with that anyway.First the steam function stopped working, but the “steam shot” button still worked. After using the steam shot function more frequently, the button pushed fully into the machine and obviously no longer worked. I didn’t want to risk any kind of water leakage with an electrical appliance so I couldn’t even use it for regular ironing. This was at 11 months of use. I didn’t have time to contact the company until about 13 months after purchase but I thought I had a 3 year warranty anyway. After contacting them and finding out it’s actually a one year warranty and that I submitted my claim after the 1 year window had closed (by one month, ugh), I was left with a piece of junk. I hate how wasteful this is. I thought I was getting something that was going to last at least 3 years. Their customer service was completely unhelpful and offered no solution after having me fill out forms and submit photos.I switched to an older iron from my grandma that’s from the 90’s and that thing hasn’t let me down in the 3 years I’ve been using it.Aside from that I found this Sunbeam iron too lightweight to get a good press, and it also didn’t get very hot so was useless when ironing cotton. The retractable cord was nice though, I guess.
