Made a big difference
We bought these for a couch and a recliner but have only installed on the recliner so far. The original recliner back legs were cut at a slight angle on the top so I was a bit nervous but these seem fine. I would suggest measuring your current legs. These are wider at the top then the 4" that came with the recliner. In the front they come out right to the edge of the chair but in the back they are slightly wider than the chair. The chair is in a corner with other items around it so I'don't really care. The extra height and stable legs was more important. Look is why I gave it only 4 stars. The bubble wrap used to pack the legs leaves marks on the wood. Nothing horrid and really not noticable without getting on top of them. Also the slides on the bottom of the feet are plastic and super slippery on hard wood. I'll probably replace them with felt pads. We got 8" and I'm 5'1" and my feet just touch the floor. 6" would probably be better for me but hubby has hip issues and needs the height. If I knew how good these were I would have bought a much less expensive couch that just was too low. Last warning, we needed a pair of pliers to grip the plastic cover on the screws and get them off. After that installation was a simple twist.

Just what I needed for my futon. The color and size I wanted and easy to install (screw in).
Used this for a futon I had bent the old legs while standing on end to move out of the room by myself. Received the legs and screwed them in...perfect.

Added stability to ottoman.
Easy to install and added extra height to an ottoman I am using inside my master closet.

VERY STURDY & LARGER THAN IN PHOTO
I was very surprised to see how large these legs are. That said, I love the 40's look of the large legs. They were a little hard to screw into my Ikea Soderhamn set. I used WD-40 on one of them. I will probably get another 2 sets for the sofa & corner sectional...it's nice to not feel so close to the floor.

Beautiful looking. Functional? Maybe not.
I ordered this product in hopes of increasing the height of a lounge chair in my master sitting area for my husband who is a bit taller. The item arrived later than I would have liked but I believe that may have been an issue with my bank not approving it for weird reasons as it approved everything else in my order. They were sent well packaged and each wrapped in bubble wrap to protect against scrapes which I was pleased with. They felt like they had a satisfactory weight the them and appeared to be real wood. The staining or paint I honestly couldn’t tell as it was fairly thick, was put on evenly and they looked very attractive.Upon swapping the old legs for the new ones I ran into several issues. The screws on the new legs began to turn inside the wood making it difficult to tighten on the leg. I was still almost half an inch away from the base plate on the chair so this was a no go.I figured it was a fluke so attempted to put the other legs on and worry about that one later. I experienced the same problems but now one of the other screws decided to tighten further down the wood instead of in my chair. Figuring maybe the screws were different sizes, I compared them and they were the same so at this point I had no clue what was going on.I decided to take them off and have my husband try, although I have assembled my fair share of furniture, as I build it with my husband in our spare time. I’m not an amateur by any means when it comes to things such as chair legs.Upon trying to remove the leg, the entire screw came out of the wood and was stuck in my base plate. I had to unscrew the base plate from the chair to wrestle it out. It took a pair of vise grips and a bucket of elbow grease to remove it from the plate. After looking at the screw, I realized the vise grips had stripped part of the screw complety flat like it was made with cheap metal. At this point I was less than impressed and decided to just DIY it with a few fence post end caps. For the price I paid, it shouldn’t have been that difficult and they shouldn’t have come apart or separate as they did. I’ve bought cheaper from here that gave me no problems what so ever.I give three stars because the appearance was spot on and they were beautiful, but they did not work as I had hoped and overall gave a bad experience for me.Perhaps they would work for your projects. But not mine. Seller was prompt with the refund so no hard feeling there.

They worked!
I’d purchased a bench that though looked good, turned out to be lower than I wanted. I took a while looking for new legs before taking a chance on the ones I purchased. Turns out, they worked perfectly and you wouldn’t even know they didn’t come with the bench originally. They’re strong and the price was good. I’m pleased with the purchase.

Poor product finish
Have to refinish the brand new legs because they look like snakeskin.
