Have a Fender Baseman 10 from the early 70's that I cut down from a 4-10 to a 2-10. This amp is inexplicably not collectable, so I didn't mind hacking it. The circuit is more Blackface than anything else from the era, so I didn't want to screw that up. Planned to use 10516 drivers but they are discontinued. Lesson: don't wait. 2nd option was some other 10" 16 ohm guitar speaker. None that I considered worthy, so sound reinforcement drivers were the available pool. Keep in mind I didn't have room for 12's after the hack-job, so it would have to be 10's. Delta10B was always on the list for other projects, so I gave them a try... and the angels sang...Ahhhhhhhhhh! Great range, like send the bass knob to zero for guitar. Clean Fender goodness in abundance. Pedals. Sure, why not "Oh,you could have replaced the output transformer to match a pair of (ohm drivers". Tried that; it was too perfect. Back to the Fender output trans and now the D10B's. Yup, that's the ticket. Think old ELectovoice. Bet these D10B's are monsters in their intended sound reinforcement role.

Great sound. A little unconventional but I-paired with a 15 Eminece bass speaker for my bass rig and it has a great sound

Replaced both speakers in our PA for rock band. These speakers are amazing. Very loud and clear. No distortion. 5 stars all the way and a steal at the price I paid, IMO.
