Moms of Boys->Use Magnatile Freestyle Blocks to Expand
I like that it is a playhouse that has subject matter that appeals to rough and tumble boys. When combined with Magnatiles Freestyle blocks it becomes something even better!

Good but over priced
My 5 year old loves it. It’s a great toy but not a good bang for your buck. Definitely over priced.

REALLY FUN MAGNETIC FIRE TRUCK!
FIRE TRUCKOne of the most FUN parts of this magnetic set is the big red fire truck! It measures 6-1/2" x 4" and there are 4 magnetic half-square panels that fit into the sides, back and top of the fire truck. Each piece portrays both the inside and outside of the fire truck -- one on each side. The top piece has an extending step ladder piece, which is really cute.FIREHOUSE:There are 5 room/firehouse building tiles. Three of the tiles portray inside scenes on one side and outside scenes on the other side. A fourth tiles has two inside scenes to choose from. The fifth magnetic tile is a working firehouse truck/garage door. The garage/truck door goes up to a 90 degree angle that click/locks into place. The firehouse truck can actually drive through it. The room scenes include a bedroom, kitchen, command center, workout room, and locker room. There are two triangles that form a square and have a variety of brick/masonry surfaces. Finally there are two triangle roofing tiles.MAGNETIC DOLLS/FIGURES:There are a total of four people figures: a wooden boy, a wooden girl, a magnetic female firewoman and a magnetic male fireman. And, of course, no firehouse would be complete without a wooden firehouse Dalmation dog. There is a whole sheet of magnetic accessories and outfits for the fire fighters and the firehouse. The problem is that there is no good way to store all of the magnetic accessories once they are removed from the magnetic sheet. I wish there was a plain white magnetic mat to store all of the accessories on. I plan to cut down to size one of those magnetic sheets they sell as heat vent covers to use as a storage area for magnetic accessories.THE BOX:One of the best things about this set is that the box has been designed to make it a "play, carry, store" set. Inside, there is a molded tray that stores all of the pieces. This sits neatly inside the box. The box has a carry handle on top, making it portable to play dates, grandparents, and sleepovers.BOTTOM LINE:The magnetic fire truck is super cute and fun. All of the figures, including the dog, can fit in the fire truck seat. The firehouse is very colorful. This is fun as a building set. The fire truck and building pieces can be used for imaginative play. Your child will enjoy hours of play with this set. I highly recommend this set.

Firehouse magnet toy
Pros:- as with most M&D products, the human characters are diverse (at least more than usual), so you can play with a black firefighter or a female firefighter.- my 5 year old wanted to open the box immediately and was quickly drawn to the vehicle, which he put together and rolled back and forth.- There's a ton of little magnets for putting in the rooms to create different scenes. This also occupied him for awhile.Cons- it's magnets, so as a playhouse, it doesn't hold together great. The truck, especially, kept collapsing. My 2.5 year old quickly got frustrated with it, so it's definitely for the 4+ set.- I wish the firehose came with more pieces and better support. To make it truly great, the firehouse should be three stories, I think.- you, or rather your child, will lose all these small magnets pretty quickly.Overall, I think it's a fun, imaginative toy, but if you're looking for a true imaginary firehouse, I'd sock the money away and save up for a real three-D, three story version. And if you're looking for an imaginative way to play with building magnets, I'd get the clear, plastic basic ones, as I think they are more challenging. My kids use those all the time, and build houses for the other toys.-

Very weak magnets
A piece of junk. Magnets and walls constantly falling off. Don't waste your money
