I would definitely consider it to be universal for both men and women! I love the color of it – I ordered it in black but I think it pulls both black and navy hues. The size of the bag is good and great for weekend travel (I added a few photos holding the bag to better represent it’s overall size). I think it looks trendy, feels well-made, and is definitely giftable! Overall, I am really happy with it and would confidently recommend it to others! Hope that helps!

Handle came off 7th time i used it,, should last longer than that.. I think its the rivet thing was bad or not connected well.Updated 7/8/17: After my original review i was contacted by seller and asked if i wanted a full refund or a replacement bag. I wanted the replacement bag, as i really liked the bag. I did not ask them or enquire for them to do this. They did it on their own. Really impressed with the way they handled this issue. Customer service awesomeness ! I recieved several followup emails, as i dont check my email everyday. The new bag arrived and upon checking out the new bag, it appears there has been some quality upgrades made to make the bag a better product. Very happy customer, i changed my review to 5 stars because of the customer service. Unprevoked responce, and quick service. The bag looks to be much improved from the original bag. Will be useing soon.

I've spent well over $17,800 with Amazon as a Prime Business Member for over 4 years. I rarely do written feedback. But this is an instance that I thought All of You should be aware. The bag I had just received is an Ugloo Weekend Overnight Bag with PU Leather. I purchased a similar bag from BluBoon here on Amazon just 5 days prior. The difference is night and day. With this Bag, the dimensions are smaller than similar products like those sold by Bluboon; there are only 2 fastners instead of four clasping down the hooks at the stress points; the leather is more of a cheap bonded synthetic grain (it's stiff and thin); and, finally the canvas material isn't as thick. I just thought you all should be forwarned before attempting to purchase. I've purchased similar items from iBlue, Bluboon, and Bluesky with Bluesky Products being the Best, as the leather is real, zipper is thick, and the canvas material is thick. So, bottom line, Products may be similar, but they're definitely not the same. Good Luck.

You'll never be embarrassed about being seen using it. Making it a gift will be gratefully received. The faux leather is very realistic. Metal buckles are tastefully understated, not gaudy ornamental fake brass. Comfortable to carry or be slung around a shoulder. I travel a lot, and this is perfect in that I don't "stand out" using it. I'm not a "mark".One thing I love is the heavy duty, water-resistant canvas it uses; instead of being a solid black color it has hints of grey. As this wears through years of hard use it will age well. It'll look seasoned, not ratty. This is damn near a lifetime investment.While this is smaller than what I use for carry-on plane luggage, it's perfect as a gym bag or a weekender. Extra pockets are large enough to be practical serviceable size.

I'm into the canvas look and this is the perfect bag for up to five-day trips. Has lots of pockets and really like the pocket on the outside so you can get to any id easily. My husband even liked it and that says a lot. I did cut off the extra belt straps that were for style only that way I didn't have to hear the buckle jingle.

VERY nice travel bag!!! I am always going on small weekend trips and absolutely hate taking a luggage with me everywhere I go. I worked myself down to a gym bag but the gym bag is too large as well! So when I saw this bag, with a really cool old school canvas look, I had to get it!The bag arrived quickly and just in time for a trip! I chose the black one, now it’s not a try black and I love that about it. It’s kinda like a salt and pepper look to it! The bag has multiple different large pockets making it easy to store different toiletries and accessories. In my photos you can see I very easily was able to store a size 7 pair of woman's shoes. You can also see me very easily store my size 11 shoes in the inside of the bag. The bag has side handles and a shoulder strap making it easy for storage and transportation!! Overall I really really like this bag!! My wife loves the look of it and I enjoy how small it is. Please read the description of size before you buy! Dimensions: 18.1" L x 9.1" W x 9.8" H .

After writing my last review, I was informed that the production quality has improved and was given an option for a refund or new bag, I chose new bag. Customer service has been over the top on making sure my issue was resolved. While I have not had a chance to use the new bag, I'm getting emailed daily to change my review. Customer service is EXTREMELY observant of their reviews.Old Review of initial bag bought; new bag looks like better quality, I travel mostly for work and at least twice a month, update next week.Strap broke first time using it, zipper broke the second. Unless you don't actually plan on using it, it looks okay. Mine ended up coming from baggage claim wrapped in TSA tape. Don't recommend for actual travel.

I have three duffels, a Korchmar, a Leonhard and this. The Korchmar cost $600.00 and the Leonhard cost $400.00 and I love them both. But for the money, and if you are not trying to impress your neighbors, this bag does everything the more expensive bags do. This bag doesn't have all the bells and whistles but for a weekend bag you can do everything you would need.
