Didn’t expect it to work so well
Partner’s battery in her car went flat.. wasn’t quite dead due to the cold weather so we took a punt at charging it ourselves. She obviously let me get the battery out of the car and into the house (hard part) and the charger did the rest.Even though it doesn’t produce much amps it did charge the battery until it was 75% charges overnight. Quicker than I expected. The device is very versatile, if you had the outdoor/extentension cable you could have charged it that way.The cable length is adequate and the actual design is really compact and slick. No trouble following the manuel and getting it charging the battery in no time.Great product, great price and definitely will be suggesting it to my friends and family if ever needed.

NOCO 1A battery charger
NOTE: THIS IS A TRICKLE CHARGER THAT GIVES A 1A OUTPUT SO THE BIGGER YOUR BATTERY, THE LONGER IT WILL TAKE TO CHARGE. IT DOES CHARGE BATTERIES OVER 30AH BUT IT WILL TAKE LONGER TO DO SO.I bought this product because my existing Trickle Charger couldn't recognise a battery that had less than 3% charge and, apparently my battery had fully discharged due to not being used a number of weeks during winter months.I decided to buy a product that promised to charge a dead battery so that if there was no remaining charge at all, I could get it going. My current charger can get my battery up to 100% in around 28 hours due to being Trickle fed rather han high voltage, so was happy to have similar.I expected this one to operate similarly but with the added benefit of recognising a battery with less than 3% charge. The packaging is great. Amazon delivered it without any outer box to hide the product, but it has a sturdy box so wasn't too bothered by having extra packaging. The product itself seems very well made, not at all flimsy and was easy to understand what to do.I so far have it going and thought perhaps it would need to be put on force charge as I believed it to be fully dead, but for some reason, it wasn't working for me, no matter how many times I tried to use that setting by pressing the button for the required 5 seconds. But it appears to be working just on 12v setting, so must have had at least 1% left. Initially I wasn't certain it was on standby mode, as it looked like an orange light from certain angles, but looks red from another. But it is charging, so don't despair if you see a pulsing light and not much else for some time, it is charging. It has a reddish light that's slowly pulsing off and on. If on standby it would just be a solid orange, no charge. I left it for a few days (note: my battery was almost completely discharged so a top up will take far less time) and it's now pulsing green, so it's almost done.I'd have liked to have some kind of indicator of a percentage or amount of charge its up to, just so it's clear its doing something, but it does what it's meant to.I hadn't realised when buying it that it was made for up to 30AH batteries, which excludes most car batteries, yet the description said nothing about this. Reading up on it though, it *can* charge batteries over 30AH, it's just going to take a longer time.So I would say that, if you're wanting to charge a car battery fast, that you get jump leads and ask a neighbour to jump start your car. Or, buy a bigger charger, from 2A upwards, that gives a greater output charge, thus reducing the time it will take. For me, I'm in no rush so I shall just continue using a Trickle Charger and I'm more than happy with this product.

Easily charged a zero volts battery.
A totally exceptional charger. I have a 12 volt lead acid, from my vintage Saab, the car sat for four years, as I was quite unwell, I removed it a few months ago and replaced it. The old one went into a cupboard and was eventually put outside last weekend. I saw a review from project farm on YouTube, and liked the sound of this one. At first I tried my other charger on the battery, and after two days gave up and tried the genius one. To my suprise, with a battery totally dead, reading zero volts, the genius easily charged it safely overnight and in the morning was complete. I put my meter on it, and it read 12.8 volts, I'd say that's a winner. I would definitely recommend this charger.

Good charger for motorbike batteries
Good charger for motorbike batteries. I bought one of these back in 2020 and it recently stopped working- it was charging but seemed to be stuck on bulk charging. Initial thoughts were battery is dead but tried it on a spare battery and had same issue. New one works fine and cheaper than a new battery 😃 just hope this one lasts a bit longer

Really quite impressed
Bought this item due to its popularity, good reviews, and its cost. Was a bit of a stab in the dark. But, I really am impressed with its ease of use and performance. With regards to the charging lights, there's only 4 different light sequences which keep it nice and easy to understand. Keeps my battery charged full throughout the winter evenings. Plus, you can keep it connected the whole time and just leave it, as it keeps the battery at 100% without overcharging it.A nice, compact bit of kit. Was quite surprised with how small it is, but it packs quite a good punch. Another cool thing I like, is that you can remove the clamps from the wires, and then just directly screw the metal rings onto the battery and leave it on. So when you want to charge, just plug it into the plastic socket at the other end of the wire. Makes it so much simpler to use.Overall, really happy. Been recommending to all my biker friends.

Not long lasting
The media could not be loaded. Worked for six months now im getting this fault and if tried using it on three different batteries and it’s still coming up with the same fault all my batteries are 13 V plus charge currently
