Orzly Grip Case for Nintendo Switch Lite

This is a great case all round. First off, it comes neatly boxed and well packaged. From the moment I opened the box I could tell it was a quality product. The colour match was spot on for me - I have a yellow Switch Lite. I cannot comment on other colours but would assume similar attention to detail has been paid.The case fits nice and snug and was simple to get on with a little bit of wiggling and jiggling around. The protective material has a soft plastic/rubber feeling. I also wasn’t worried about damaging or scratching my new console due the the soft textures of the case. Cut outs are perfectly aligned and well shaped too.There is a neat little kick stand at the back. Haven’t used that yet but it feels robust enough and simply clicks out and in again when not in use so shouldn’t flop around or swing off. Time will tell on this element though. The front face plate surround gives a small lift off the screen so should you place your console face down you needn’t be worried about screen damage.The handgrips themselves are very tactile and add a huge amount of comfort when gaming for long periods. I used to struggle to game without these and was always worried I might drop my console but not any longer. I would personally have liked to see a little more bulk on these grips but that’s just my preference. It makes playing much more of an enjoyable experience.The only criticism I can find is within the supplied thumb grips. On a positive note you are supplied with 3 different sizes which initially sounded like a huge bonus given the base cost but if I am honest they aren’t all that great. They are fairly loose fitting (all sizes) and look great when first applied, however I found they kept coming loose and slipping off during prolonged periods of gaming. Frustrating and I ended up removing them completely. Shame really as they looked great and I was initially pleased they were included. A small design tweak and you have the perfect combo of case and grips here.All said and done though, the thumb grips were not the main reason I chose this product over it competition. I think the design is great and it feels like it will last a long time. Most importantly though it makes gaming more comfortable and protects my console from accidental damage. I therefore cannot fault the case and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or buy another.

I needed a grip case of some kind as I was noticing slight cramp in my hands after frenetic or long gaming sessions on the Switch Lite. Went for Orzly as I have used their products before and have always been happy, and I didn't want something expensive and/or large such as the Satisfye. Plus, I think that particular item is incredibly ugly to look at whilst gaming!The fit and finish of the Orzly case is excellent, and especially so for the money. The way the console fits into it is snug and solid, without hampering access to any of the ports or triggers. The subtle hand grips offer good support and greatly reduce cramp - a massive improvement over the standard flat back of the console. Imagine using a PS4 or Xbox controller without their prongs on them and that's how the Switch Lite could feel before I picked this item up!Negatives? Couple of minor quibbles really, shouldn't be a factor to stop you purchasing. The moulded hand grips could probably do with being slightly larger, I would imagine especially so if you have large hands. Fine for my own small/medium hands though. Secondly, the included thumb grips I could not get on with at all.....the fit isn't quite right, the larger ones restrict full movement of the analogue stick (meaning recalibration and less range) and even disregarding that I didn't think they improved the feel of the analogue sticks anyway. They were purely an 'extra' so far as I was concerned - I bought this solely for the improved support it offers me whilst gaming, and on that count everything is great!After spending a lot of time comparing a range of grips, large/small, cheap/expensive, I'm glad I went for the Orzly. A cheap but high quality solution and exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommended.

I'll have to apologise for my photo's - the case was a perfect colour match to the console when it was new, but after 4 months of daily near continuous use during lockdown by various members of the family has left it's mark, in the form of slightly grimey looking dirt prints from so much man-handling. This is not a complaint but is actually a complement that it fit so well that the console has not been used without the case attached since the day it arrived. The fit is snug, with good access to the ports and card slot cover. The plastic stand is unobtrusive (but we haven't really used that much). The card slots are an interesting addition and grip the cards well, but we never really take the case off to have access to them. The feel of the case is a soft-touch but firm silicone style, and the bulges on the joycon areas are perfectly ergonomic to massively increase the comfort of long term play. A good fit at a good price, I might by another clean one eventually if I cant scrub the grime from this one!

I would definitely recommend this product! It fits really well on the switch and is comfortable to hold. I especially love the stand at the back which sturdier than I expected and the colours are very good matches to the switch colours. The price is okay, it would have recommended it be £10 or slightly under but at the price I paid, I’m not disappointed

I am so pleased I bought this! It makes the console more comfortable without changing the design and keeps it lightweight. I like the different options for the thumb pads, they’re a little fiddly to put on and the spin around quick easily but it makes it easier to use. It comes with a stand and two game card holders inside. I’ve only had it a few days but it seems like it’s good quality and will last a while. The only negative I have is that the cut out around the power button makes it a little bit more difficult to press if you have larger hands.
