Taymor Polished Brass Bathtub Caddy with Candle Holder and Wine Glass Holder

I love this caddy. I use the wine glass holder portion to hang my back brush. It is sturdy, and the candle holder is a gem. It is a spiked one that takes a 1-inch or 7/8-inch candle. It all goes nicely on my oversized, double slipper copper tub.

If your tub has a small ledge against the wall, then this unit is not very stable. The smaller tub ledge does not give the side wire hook enough support. Then, because it is easily adjustable, if you bump it or move it, it might close up on you and fall into the tub. I would not purchase this unless you have wide edges on each side of the tub. Then you have a larger area and if it moves slightly will not fall. I thought I might get it just right for my tub, then drill holes and put in screws to keep it securely in place, but decided against it and returned it.My candle holder was crooked, which was bad as you don't want candle wax dripping into the tub. It says it holds votive candles, but I had only a regular size. The cup was larger than I needed and although there's a pin in the bottom to push your candle into, this did nothing to stabilize the candle. I ended up wrapping toilet paper around it and pressing it into the holder to keep it straight which also caught the wax as it dripped down.I liked the wine holder! But due to the fact that I was worried about the unit staying put, I did not trust it. No one wants a broken wine glass in their tub! All in all, it was too much trouble for a relaxing bath!In all fairness, I used my old plastic tub caddy to store things in. Then I moved it to the side of the tub when bathing. This piece has wire shelving, which I thought would be good, but even larger items would tilt as the wire didn't give good support. Wire shelves need to be close together to make a good shelf.It is beautiful and I loved the whole idea of a candle and wine holder while bathing, and hate that it didn't work with my tub. I think it would work fairly well for a different type of tub.I had no trouble returning it as it is through Amazon.

Looks as good as much pricier options that you'll find at big name home goods brands like Anthro or CB2.

yeah, its brass. But plated. gets gross after a while and needs to be replaced. even with polishing. does anybody make good quality stuff anymore?

Love this, I have a clawfoot and so I need something to hold all my stuff, this fits perfectly and I have my glass of wine safe and close at hand, it has not shown any signs of wear
