Eukanuba Breed Specific Yorkshire Terrier Dry Dog Food, 10 lb

The media could not be loaded.  I was feeding my dog that expensive $20 a bag food that has all natural ingredients blah blah blah. I decided to get this based on the reviews and my dog who was a puppy mill dog and has a bad leg all of a sudden became a new animal. She’s so full of energy now and the vet says she’s doing great. She seems so much happier and energetic on her stubby leg than she did before. I definitely recommend it!

Out dogs have been on this food for the better part of 14 years. We have three dachshunds and I do believe the quality of this food is exceptional and has helped them live longer and happier lives. Our oldest is now 16 and our youngest is 6 so we have went through many types of food and have settled on this mixed with Science Diet and they seem to never be picky when it comes to feeding time. I would buy this locally and the reason I am buying this now through Amazon is because we can't find any stores that carry the 12 pound bags any longer. Everyone has 10 pound bags and they are still the same price!

Ever since my dog became ill with pancrititus ( not sure if if that's the correct spelling) the vet suggested that I get a dog food brand specifically made for her breed so I decided to try this one. I'm happy to report that she is healthier . Also, it was told to my family and I to limit "doggie snacks". My dog seems to enjoy her food so that's definitely a plus.

So far I like it - she's still transitioning to it, BUT I can tell a massive slow down in her eating. She takes more time with it. She seems to really like it, but as ya'll know dachshunds will eat justtt about anything. ;) She's pooping a little less on this one than the other one so I'm hoping that means that she's absorbing more nutrients? Keeping an eye on it. Until I find out for sure I'll leave it as 4stars.

I was looking for food specific to the breed, dachshund and I thought it would be good for my mini 11.5 pounds dachshund Wired hair. I trust Eukanuba brand since my Shelly was a puppy, almost 3 years now, so now that I found it I trust the food gets the nutrients that she needs. She likes this food better than the regular Eukanuba small breed. This is supplemental to her special wet food I give her. I give her 1/4 cup twice a day after she eats her wet food. Some days she eats it both times and some days she only eats it at dinner. Shelly has a mind of her own and we let her choose!

I didn't think my really picky toy Chihuahua would eat this but since I ran out of it he stubs his nose at his bowl which has the cheaper food that I tend to mix with the Eukanuba. It is a super high quality dog food in my opinion and I feel that I am giving him a good chance at good health by feeding this product. Also, the tiny morsels encourage him to eat it.

I switched away from this product as it is very expensive and I had trouble buying at a reasonable price. It has been sold out from several buyers even one I was a repeat customer. We switched to taste of the wild- Bison. My dogs love it. The price is still higher that the store brands, but the product is a much higher quality and we have been able to buy online without problem.

I have fed my long-hair mini dachshund this product since he was 6 months old. I like a product that is geared towards a specific breed. It has small pieces that make it easy for him to handle, especially since he is now a senior. He seems to like the product. I have never had an issue with the product making him sick for any reason. Having used it now for 11 years I see no reason to switch to something else since this seems to work.
