I purchased this for an upcoming cruise (that buffet coffee is just awful). I am so impressed with this little device.Now I am relatively new to coffee and would consider myself a fairly standard coffee drinker, albeit with a developing palette that appreciates a good brew.What I like about this is how easy it is to use and moreover how easy it is to clean. It really does produce an amazing cup of coffee, quickly and without any mess.It’s so portable that it now lives in my work bag having made its successful debut at my desk. No longer shall I suffer cheap work coffee now I have my magic Aeropress.For those of you, like me that wondered if this would be much different to your standard French press - it is. Put simply, the coffee you get out of this, even with the same grinds is far superior and less bitter thanks to the pressure and filters (which are dirt cheap). It’s also far easy to clean.The only issue I can see is the go version really is a single serve device, but because you can make your brew so quickly this really isn’t an issue in my opinion.Far from just being used on the cruise, this press will be part of my daily routine as I move around with work. Thumbs up!

Sometimes when you buy something you just know straight away by the look and feel. This item is quality and for ease of use and of course what we really want is the ability to make great coffee at a reasonable price. I have researched coffee machines and pods etc etc and they are all a faff. Who doesn't know someone who hasn't given away a worktop coffee machine to a family member or friend, they might not still be a friend after being given one of those. This aeropress go covers all bases, portable and easy to store. The filters are a breeze to use and cost peanuts. The advert is wrong you don't get 350 filters more like 30. But the seller sorted that problem within 3 days, 5 stars to them. In only 1 week of owning this aeropress go two of my friends have bought one. Register the item on arrival and you get two years free guarantee so can't be bad. I also cannot see what will break though. This is a genuine review I am not one of these vine merchants I just love good coffee on a budget. I live very near to the beach so a small flask of hot water, the aeropress loaded with filter and coffee. Happy days ahead. Don't hesitate at the price it is well worth it.Update after two weeks. My coffee consumption has gone from 3 to 6 a day and all because of this great little coffee maker. Tea is out the window now. I tested the metal filter over the paper filters. Not worth it personally as the great thing about the aeropress is the cleaning. Push the coffee into the cup. Then remove the plastic filter holder. Push out coffee and used filter straight into the bin and rinse. All sorted ready for another brew. I am off to make another one now enjoy.

I love this! Perfect for people who commute and itnis easy to store anywhere. Great tasting coffee and really easy to use. Easy to clean and I am planning on getting my partner one as a gift.

Had my first cup of coffee from this little press today and am totally impressed. I really can’t fault it. It’s the best system I’ve found for making a single mug of coffee.I bought this to use in my caravan and its compact size is perfect for the job. Also, as I heat my water on gas, I shall be able to use it when I’m off grid as well as on hook-up.I’m still experimenting with the brew time. I pushed it more out less straight through today, but will probably leave it to brew for a minute before pressing next time.Not only is it the most convenient to make the coffee, but cleaning couldn’t be quicker or easier. I love how the grounds just plop out in a thick wheel when you push the plunger further through.Might even get one to keep in the house!

Two things... The aeropress is great, small but handy as it packs up in itself, which was an important thing for me as I wanted to take it to work so needed something to put it in. The volume gives about half a mug, but topped up with water, it does actually make a lovely cup of coffee.However, I may have been short changed, but the Amazon advert lists 350 filters. This did NOT come with 350, more like 50. As It did state 350, I decided to not purchase the additional pack of filters. Small issue as they are the consumable part, but if you say it has 350 filters, put 350 filters in the box!

Excellent product. Easy to use. Makes great coffee. Much better than a cafetiere. Only makes one cup at a time though which is fine for me. The travel version is excellent because it all packs up into one so it's very portable.

I had a friend who had one of these and I already know it was great. These are the things I love about it: 1) a good coffee ground will be delicious. You have total freedom to control the water temperature and preparation time, as it is entirely manual; 2) I love how easy it is to dispose of the used coffee. You just pop the compressed ground in the garbage bin and clean the rest; and 3) It is great to prepare a coffee while socializing. Everyone loves it and the preparation process, even those who usually say they don't like to drink coffee.I consider the price a little bit high, but it delivers a great experience and proportional quality. I recently moved and couldn't find a good coffee machine nearby. This one was perfect.
