I have a pressure washer that had not been used in a couple of years. The gasoline had gunked up the carburetor but that’s happened before and I just need to clean it out. Engine wouldn’t start as expected. I took apart the carb bowl, cleaned it, and cleaned that little brass screw thing (I’m not mechanically inclined so not sure what it’s called). I used lots of carburetor cleaner and tried to make sure it was free of deposits. Engine still wouldn’t start. I went to the local hardware store and spent $20 on starter fluid/spray. Emptied out the gasoline and tried the starter fluid - still wouldn’t start. Added a little fresh gasoline. Still wouldn’t start. Cleaned the brass screw thingy again - still wouldn’t start.I finally admitted to myself that I need a new brass screw. So I found this carb on Amazon that matches my engine model number, planning to just use the new screw part in my old carb.When this item arrived, I compared it to the existing carburetor and saw that they were indeed identical. The more I looked at it, I convinced myself to just replace the entire carburetor with this new one. It was surprisingly easy (just make sure to take photos of the original carburetor to make sure you put the wires/rods and springs back in the right place).As it turned out, I didn’t need to look at the pics. Everything was very straightforward. Once I installed the new carburetor, I emptied the gas tank and added a little fresh gasoline. Turned the switch to “on” - pulled the cord ONE TIME - engine started right away. Water pressure in the nozzle was good, and everything ran like new. Wow! For about $25 and 20 mins of my time, I could have saved myself weeks of hassle. This is absolutely a perfect item - exactly what I needed and I should have bought it at the first instead of trying to clean an old carburetor.

I used to pull these off and clean them, but never again. These are so cheap priced and work really well, I’ll just order another when I need to. My pressure washer starts within 2/3 pulls .

The carburetor itself seems to be well built and works as expected, however the accessories seem a little cheap i.e. fuel line, clamps and O ring. Hoping it will last long.

Replaced a carburetor on my Craftsman lawnmower because of surging, problem solved.For the price a carburetor would have been a fair deal, but all of the extras included just increased the value you get from this.Replacing the old one was simple and this replacement is solid.Cost for a 'tune up' for the lawnmower motor locally was $65. This wouldn't have included a carb rebuild kit if needed. An oil change, new filter which was included with this carb replacement was far cheaper.I would buy this again if the problem ever comes up for this again on any of my equipment
