Harrison, my 3 year old grandson, loves this book. He had to have all 7 George books and looks forward to naptime and reading them. (spoiler alert) His favorite part is the party with the mummies at the end!

Fun story, well illustrated

Someone has stolen the cakes at the museum cafe so George and faithful sidekick Trixie the dog go to the museum to investigate. They find crumbs and accuse all manner of exhibits of stealing the cakes until finally they find the thief. Then with the cakes safely returned to the cafe George and all his new friends have a party with muffins that George has brought from home to tempt the thief.Beautifully detailed and bright drawings, the tour of the museum teaches us a little about history as well. Lots of fun.
