I had to improvise on the installation, because as other reviews stated, there were basically NO instractions on how to install these. I ordered the plug-in lights, but it appears that these can also be hard-wired into the wall if you choose.Once installed, they look BEAUTIFUL and go with my rustic cowboy dining/family room perfectly. I won't rely on these lights as my primary source of light, because they're not very bright with the bulbs I used (I think 60 watts is the max), but I only wanted them as a "night light" in the evenings, so it'll do the job I wanted.Overall, I'm very satisfied with the purchase and am considering another set for the foyer.

I didn’t want to hire and electrician to install some lights in my Victorian style study, so these lamps were perfect! I imagine some reviewers must have had a lot of user errors, as I didn’t had any trouble putting them up or changing the bulbs. Seriously, it’s not that hard to change a lightbulb.They also look really nice and not cheap. They are all metal and glass. the back wires were covered with caps so they don’t need to be grounded like someone else said- they are only there if you decide to change it from corded to directly wired.They were easy to install and they look beautiful. Old style Edison bulbs work best. I had coil Bulbs but they were too short to effectively be seen.Edison bulbs it is! I also painted the cords and they “disappear“ into the wall. So many cool things you could do with these. I’m super happy with them!

This lamp is priced very fair and gives an old world charm to any room it is used in. It gives off good light and does not need to be wired into a wall

It's not a big lantern but it's a cute and nice one.Very easy too install. If you can screw a screw into a wall then you got this, the rest is easy peasy.It doesn't come with lightbulbs. It needs those special led lightbulbs.I'm happy with my purchase. They came in a timely matter.

These are cute and relatively well made for the price, but the included screws were not long enough for proper plug-in installation and I needed to use my own.

I put these lanterns over my headboard in my bedroom. I love it with Amber lighting. It’s exactly the look I was going for.

I love the lights ... but they are hard to hang ... I got the ones with the cords so I wouldn't have to put sinkers in the wall ... but with these you have to use sinkers ...

I purchased the sconces for our bedroom which really fit there very well. Nicely packaged and the delivery only took 2 days. After I unpacked the box, It's exactly what I wanted. I was surprised with the quality in this price. Easy understanding installation, screws and even some spare screws were attached. Thoughtful! After install, the lamp make a really cozy and vintage atmosphere in our bedroom. The design give me a feeling like ancient European craft. however, Bulbs need to be bought separately. the one I use is the vintage bulbs. I think it fit best on this sconces. definitely Recommended!
