It is a solid and nice space heater. It warms up quickly and it is not noisy.

I’ve been using this Amazon Basics Oscillating Ceramic Space Heater to keep my basement above 65°F during freezing 0°F weather, and it works like a charm! I use it in my basement and use my basement for propagating house plants seedlings in different plant species so it needs to stay warm in this works perfect. Oscillating feature is lovely and effective and simple with the push of a switch. Functional dials and thermostat provides perfect temperature consistently. It provides excellent heat coverage for the space, warming it up quickly and maintaining a consistent temperature even in harsh conditions.The oscillation feature ensures even heat distribution, and the compact size makes it easy to place anywhere. I also appreciate the added safety features. The tip-over function is very responsive, which gives me peace of mind when using it in a busy area.Overall, this heater is powerful, efficient, and reliable. You never know how something is going to work until you get it into your place. I have an old portable heater which still works, it fills in where I need it. But the place I moved into a couple years ago, has high ceilings and it takes a lot to heat the rooms. My kitchen & bathroom, tiny though they are, have tall windows that the wood was never replaced on the outside when they put the new windows in & a lot of air (cold air right now) leaks in around them, so those rooms are freezing. There is only 1 register for the 2 rooms. I keep it on 66 degrees Fahrenheit for heat because it's heated with Natural Gas & it's expensive. This new heater works great for the area! It keeps me toasty with the door closed to my bedroom for those 2 rooms! I am so grateful to have it! And it oscillates, sending it's warmth all through those rooms!

I like this product but there's one thing that I actually don't like. And that's the button on the bottom of the heater. I get that it's a safety feature for when it gets tipped over to keep the home from burning down. However, if you don't have it on a completely flat surface, it won't work. Of course, that is the design but I just don't like it. And had I known, I wouldn't have bought it. But it's not so bad to the point where this product deserves anything less than 4 stars, so that's where we're at on this. Everything else is great!

This is a great, basic space heater. I’ve been using it regularly for several months to heat my large basement bedroom, or my office at work. My office has high ceilings and a large window, so it’s hard to keep a balanced temperature. It heats both spaces well on the low/medium setting and shuts off at intervals when it reaches the desired temperature.If you pick it up, move it or it gets bumped (just testing), the safety switch on the bottom works instantly and shuts it off. It doesn’t shut off after so many hours, but I knew that going in. This is one of the reasons I did not want a remote—having to go over to the machine to shut it on and off makes me more aware.I wasn’t looking for other bells and whistles so it met my need. I have had no issues and would likely buy another if needed.
