This is a cute set to get me started for my first venture into using fondant. I could see where heavier duty more quality tools might be desired if fondant use becomes a regular thing for me. Rolling pin is great. I didn't use the smoothing paddle or the rotary trim tool so I can't comment on that but overall a great beginners kit. The only note I'd make is that the items arrived like maybe the kit was stored with soap? I would have sent it back but I needed it for a project immediately. Once I realized that it made suds when I went to wash it off I felt a little bit better but prior to that it was like a mystery substance. It was not inside the package with the products, but just on the packing itself. I still did the bleach/water soak that you would do for kids bottles just in case. Overall a great inexpensive kit to try fondant tools out without having to spend too much.

I bought this set of cake tools to use on a fondant cake. I had never used fondant before. They are very easy to use & just what I was looking for. I have not had one issue with any of these tools. Without these tools I could not have achieved the look I was going for on the cake. I love the variety of tools that come in this set. Buying as a set like this is perfect & the price is right as buying the tools individually is way more expensive. The cutting wheel comes with 3 different cutters that store in the handle making it easy to store without loosing any pieces. The smoothing tool is just the right size for me as I have small hands. The rolling pin works great when working with a smaller piece of fondant & it's easy to remove the edge rings & storing them on the ends keeps them from getting lost as well.

I really like these and for my first attempt as "fancy" cake decorating they are great. I wish that they had included some instructions on what to do with each tool or some simple techniques to try but thanks to the internet I am able to create some highly creative desserts. They arrived very quickly and were packaged well. They are made of quality plastic and have held up well to my moderate use.*I did receive a discount on the purchase of this item in exchange for my honest review.

I love using these with pottery clay. They work really well. You may want to use a little cooking spray especially if your clay is very wet and sticky, but I believe you'll be surprised how easy and fun they are at adding little decorations to your pottery pieces.

If I could give it 10 stars, I would. This is an incredible set! I haven't use the whole bunch, but this is my 3rd day since I got it and I keep playing with forms and shapes. It goes endless and the more you do the more you want.I will post pictures when I have something decent.Although, one piece was broken (or, broke when I washed it). Still - for this price - it is a dream set!!!

Honestly I can't figure out how To use most of these and there are so many. Can be overwhelming for begginer and an awesome set for those who know how to use them. There was nothing wrong with this product.

The items are somewhat smaller than I expected. My fault as I didn't pay attention to the dimensions noted in the description. However, still many items and lots of fun to use :)
