These caught my eye because from the pics they looked like they were made from a nice twill and I like the roominess and the color. The color, Living Coral, also caught my eye. And the length, I am 5'4 with shorter legs so these land perfectly for me. Now I have seen those reviews with the banged up, cheap claims. One held up a pair of these in this color but you could see through them, they were kind of threadbare. Not the same product, no way no how. Definitely not any kind of twill known to man. And they are soft. The pockets and and inside trim are made from gray palm print. All stitching is double or triple, snaps are sturdy. These will stand up to normal wear just fine.I did size up from my normal 8 to 10 after reading the reviews and I am glad I did. The waist fits perfectly and the roominess is just right. All the pockets, I will be wearing these a lot.

I ordered a whole bunch of shorts--I don't know why women cannot get comfy cargo shorts and guys get all the good shorts and pockets! These cute FOURSTEEDS shorts were the big time winner for me!!!First--pay attention to the different FOURSTEEDS X87 versus Z86 versus maybe another color that looks slightly different. I will say if you have a butt and some curves, the FOURSTEEDS fit great, like they understand girls have booty and not shaped like a 2x4. The Dickies and Carhartts? I don't want them to shrink. They do dry kinda wrinkly, but with all the pockets it can't be helped and I don't care if my casual shorts have wrinkles. They do take a little longer to dry with all the layers of the pockets, again I don't care. They are soft and comfy and fit nice, hope this is helpful!

I really like the fit of the shorts but im glad i read the reviews because they tun very small! I like the way they look and the quality is really good but they are small i usually wear a 6 im glad i got the 8

My wife has a lot of trouble finding shorts she likes so when I found these and got her a test pair, she was happy.. "GET ONE OF EVERY COLOR!" :). So, I just about did.Pros: They fit well, they're exactly the style they show (except the belt, see below) and they make her butt look great (that's a factor for her).Cons: They may mess up your order - I got two light gray instead of 1 light, one regular (not worth dealing with a return) and the real annoyance.. the colorful belts shown are NOT ACCURATE. The blue and 'living coral' shorts did not come with the complementary-colored belts that are shown in the ad; instead, I just received two generic black belts. They're fine and all but had they shown the blue shorts with a black belt, I might not have gotten them as it's not the best look. I'm guessing the seller knows this.

Very happy with these. Sizing runs a little big. Very comfortable and versatile. Belt is a nice touch.Did not shrink in the wash.

Love these comfy shorts and am going to order more. I am 5"2 and weigh 180 lbs. I ordered a size up as people suggested. A 20. They were way to big. An 18 (my reg size was perfect. I believe these are womens sizes. So I would suggest ordering your reg size

I ordered a size 10 to replace a pair of lounge pants I love that were a men's 34, the fit matched perfectly. I measured the waist flat of these new ones and the pants are a perfect 17". That's a 34" waist, but their pictures say 32-33.5", so take that for what it's worth when others are saying these run large. However, in my case, it was perfect! I docked one star though, not only for the size chart, but specifically because the pictures showed a metal rivet button for the front closure. The one's delivered to me have a standard sewn on black button that I'm going to need to re-sew on soon anyway. All the other snaps match as shown. However, I like to see pictures of exactly what I'm purchasing, not a 'close enough' version. The material is comfortable, not cheap or thin feeling. I haven't washed them yet, but the color is rich and dark (black). On an unexpected note, though, this material IS slightly stretchy. So, if you want a form figure look, I'd buy your true size, but if you're looking for the loose fit go one size up.
