Yes, it can be a frizzy mess. Yes it is a harder texture than real hair. All i can say is it takes patience to get a beautiful, realistic result. I was impressed with the review photo of the Grandmother's wig using this hair. I too am making a wig, for my Mom, using this hair. I will leave a pic with me wearing what I've done so far so you all can have an idea. On the stand it looks darker but the color is more like me wearing it. I see alot of mixed reviews about this hair . It turned out great for me . I have a small/medium sized head . I end up having about 10 peices left . I recommend to crochet each peice 1/2 inch apart and then fill in where it’s needed. The hair is frizzy but it’s natural frizzy . I’ve gotten many compliments . Buy the hair.

I ordered MIMAN 3 Packs 10 Inch 12 MM Short Curly Crochet Hair. The hair doesn't have a smell to it. It is soft and light weight. It will tangle, but it's synthetic hair. I don't expect it to last more than maybe 2 weeks with care. I paid $19.99 plus tax thinking this was easier than running to my local Beauty Supply. Laziness will get you every time. When I first opened the package I thought they accidentally sent me a partial order. Upon further inspection, and with a sinking heart, I realized this WAS my order!!! 3 miniature bags, each bag about 2/3rds the size of an iPhone, 20 pieces of hair in each bag. When I saw the picture of the model's hair, I failed to notice there were no pictures showing the actual amount of hair you would receive. So I've added pics in my review. I REALLY wish I would've paid attention to previous reviews that mentioned this. If you're on the fence about getting this hair... just climb on down and head to your nearest Beauty Supply or post up on a different Amazon fence!!! This is NOT what you want!!

The color and length were what I expected, but I don’t really like the synthetic feel of the hair even though it is soft. There’s no nasty chemical smell. The individual pieces do not a defined loop to help with installing the hair so, if you’re not careful trying to find the little loop, the hair will become very frazzled and frizzy. Once I got it installed and cut it the way I wanted it to look, it was very pretty. So, I’ll probably purchase it again.

Curl not really what I thought very tight can't even see dark bottom unless pull out. Can't keep shiny. Just not really what I thought. I've pulled push and comb.

This product perfectly matches the color and texture of the hair I'm using it on. The curls turned out just how I wanted them. I will repurchase.

I bought this hair in May 2020 because I wanted a shorter, natural looking style. I recently installed this hair late one night at the last minute in hopes of having a new style to wear in the morning. I did not know what to expect, but LADIES this hair has EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS!!!! EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE thinks it’s my hair. My natural hair is mid back length, and people think I’ve cut my hair. They are shocked to hear it’s crochet!! I mean, shocked! The texture is extremely believable and the hair is beautiful. It is just a tad bit rough in feel, but that’s what makes it look realistic. I love this hair and have been pleasantly surprised by my results.My only con is I wish it came with a tad bit more hair. I had just enough to cover my head after making sure I placed each strand strategically. Sometimes I feel as if I have a spot showing in certain places to which I use some of the pieces I trimmed as fillers. Nonetheless, I do have a larger head so if one pack worked for me it should work for everyone else provided you unravel the curls.I highly recommend if you’re looking for a similar style as mine. P.S. I am not a hair stylist in the least bit. I installed and cut the hair to style myself. You can do it too!
