Absolutely terrible! I have an older Coolpix 4300 (which is listed in the title) and this cord does not work at all. In fact, the cord that I received, does not even look like the cord in the picture. Don't waste your time or money on this one! I've ordered it twice, thinking that maybe they just accidently sent me the wrong one, but I rec'd the same one the second time around and it doesn't work, either!

Gets the job done on my Coolpix 8700, a lot cheaper than replacing the camera
My camera is getting old, but still works, but I needed a USB cord so I could transfer the pictures (I can not find the memory cards for this anymore). This really fits perfectly for my Nikon Coolpix 8700. Trust me, it is a lot cheaper to pick up this cord, then replace the camera. And since this is my backup camera, I do not mind purchasing an off brand product. It is not as quick on transferring as some cables, but it gets the job done.
