A Year of Frazetta!
It's great to have Frazetta back in calendar form. He's one of the top illustrators from the last half of the 20th C., and often overlooked by "serious" devotees because of his close association with comics and fantasy fiction. But he was a master in his field, responsible for many popular trends (his covers would sell a book, and turned Conan into a blockbuster). Frazetta was also responsible for creating business standards in the field of commercial art.His career spanned decades and multiple genres: Comic books, comic strips, movie posters, and of course magazine and pocketbook covers. The twelve images here are all fantasy and sword and sorcery images spanning about 30 years. There's a good variety, with some printed crisp and clear, others looking just a bit foggy (Egyptian Queen). From an early Conan cover to a much later and sketchier, but just as powerful, The Defender, it's a great collection to be hanging on the wall.NOTE: The July image, Princess and the Panther is a full frontal nude, which might render the calendar NSFW, or inappropriate for some areas.

Frazetta 12 months Calendar artwork 2016
Nice looking calendar, 12inch by 12inch, arrived sealed and unbent or had any folded creases. There are 12 images for 12 months in this calendar from Frazetta's artworks. The 12 images are; The Barbarian, Death Dealer, Egyptian Queen, The Berserker, Kane on the Golden Sea, Monster Out of Time, Princess and the Panther, The Defender, Beauty and the Beast, The Mammoth, Flesh Eaters, and Silver Warrior. You can click on the images that Amazon has shown, and its a great deal if you are just buying it for the artwork or making few frame pictures. The print and color is just about right for this type of calendar. For Pathfinder and D&D players/DMs, this is a nice addition for Fantasy theme or collection, I liked it.

Wonderful work to have on your wall every month.
I haven't gotten these calendars every year but I'm not sure why I haven't. The works are always great to look at and having a new picture for the month is a great way to display some positively great works. Other than that, the days are large enough to write something down in if that is what you want to do, but in the day of smart phones that isn't really a requirement. If you love this sort of work this is some of the best around.

Could have been better balanced
This is a very nice selection of his artwork. The colors are great, the print job is excellent, and the months are well put together. I think a couple of the months could have used better images (I'm not fond of Beauty and the Beast for example or the publisher's choice for December), and that there could have been a better balance of male and female images.

Frazetta's art is amazing
I got this even when it's a year old. Viewing Frazetta's art is always a treat. I got this years calendar as well.

An awesome choice for your yearly/monthly wall art.
How can you go wrong with a calendar that has different Frazetta art for each month?Okay, it might be redundant if you already have prints or the originals hanging on your walls but otherwise this calendar is awesome.
