because I really like these discs
After seeing all of the negative reviews, I felt compelled to write something, because I really like these discs. They are great for learning proper throwing technique in disc golf. I've been throwing discs for a couple of months and recently discovered that my release wasn't quite right (I was flicking my wrist more than pulling with it), so even though I could throw pretty far, I was introducing a lot of off-axis torque/momentum causing disc instability. I had been throwing the discs indoors, but I found that they actually fly pretty well ~(4, 5, -0.5, 1 innova flight #s)--I can get them out to 250-275', about like a putter; but their real advantage is that they let you really feel the instant of release when the disc pops from your hand. This is extremely useful for understanding exactly what is going on when you throw. I usually throw these indoors, so I can do lots and lots of throws to work on technique (and not put holes in my walls!). But after taking them outside on a whim, I now use them every day to warm up and work on technique when I throw. After just a few days of working on new technique, I broke the 400' mark for the first time (with no run-up, even, since I'm not yet competent enough at throwing to make it worth it). So if you are looking for something to practice with indoors in the evening to work on technique, and maybe even to take outside to work on specific release issues, these are great!

probably fun for toddlers learning to catch Frisbees
A little fragile and it arrived bent which effects its stability when thrown. While my dog is gentle retrieving Frisbee's, two throws left deep bite marks. It's too soft for animal play; probably fun for toddlers learning to catch Frisbees. Just my two cents worth.
