Let me start by saying I do believe this to be of good quality. Although myrrh oil has many uses, I bought it for two reasons. I bought it to use in a diffuser because I have horrible allergies and I bought it to add to the cream for my grandson. Although I do get allergy shots, sometimes my allergies flare up between shots and it makes my life miserable as I am sure everyone else who suffers from allergies can tell you. So I wanted to try this in my diffuser for this purpose and also I do make my own creams, lotions, etc., and it has healing properties for my grandson's rash. Of course the major question is if it worked.I did diffuse it when I had a flare up of allergies and the flare up did subside a bit a few hours later. Now was it the oil or were they going to subside anyways is anyone's guess. I can't prove it one way or the other but I can tell you that I did enjoy the smell. I saw that it is often mixed with frankincense so the next time I had a flare up, I mixed the two in the diffuser. Again, by the end of the day it lessened. Again, I can't prove it was the oils but I can tell you that normally when I have flare ups, they do not lessen within the same day. (The combination of these two oils is heavenly.)As far as my grandson's skin rash, which I should tell you he was seen by several doctors and none of them knew what it is but he had it since birth and it would flare up and fade (never going away). He is 8 mo. old now and we have tired many things (between the doctors and over the counter as well as home made) all to no avail. The lotion I made using myrrh was used for many weeks now and in the time it hasn't flared up to that angry red, puffy rash. Again, I can't prove it was the oil or even if the oil helped in any way. However, I am not taking the oil out of my lotion because this is the longest he has gone without a flare up and the only thing I changed in my lotion was switching some oils and including this and frankincense.So, although I can't prove this oil had any affect on either of us, I do believe it did and with results like that I love it!

It has a sweet, warm, mildly spicy scent...almost like a diluted clove or very subtle anise with a hint of smokiness to it. It's not as strong as I expected but I do enjoy it. I purchased another brand's myrrh and could not detect any scent at all; whereas this essential oil is clearly distinguishable...and pleasant.Having visited many holy sites in Israel where they burn frankincense and myrrh regularly, I can say without a doubt that the scent I've come to associate with old, dusty religiosity is that of frankincense, not myrrh. Myrrh is much more pleasing in it's scent; a gentle, calming aroma that relaxes the senses.

I only used one drop of this myrrh oil so far on a minor burnt area. It does give a soothing relieve helping to heal the inflammation. Myrrh oil is very thick and resinous unlike what you expect from the watery consistency of the average essential oil. The great quality is expected for the price. I would highly recommend if are looking for something that seems pure and concentrated. I can't wait to see what other possible uses there are for this oil. Myrrh resin has been used since biblical times and mentioned in ancient texts. They are been valued for their healing abilities and blended for cosmetic application by ancient women of Egypt.

This is very sticky and it doesn’t smell good.It’s a very cheap quality.Keep your money and invest in something a little better

This essential oil is very effective! Since people have been turning to myrrh for centuries, it must be. I use this myrrh mainly on my gums because commercial big name products weren't giving my tired 75 yr old gums much relief. I tap the applicator on a cotton swab (Q----) and run that minimal amount over my gum line. Refreshing changes begin immediately! I also plan to use it for first aid for oowies, but I haven't had any lately to try it on. I am not experienced with essential oils but this is inspiring me to want to be!

I never received anything as to whether this oil works like Myrrh oil should for fingernails and hooves. All I've read and received was the fact it smells good... well it does! HIstorically however, Myrrh oil has been used for thousands of years for horses hooves so they don't split. I was using onymyrrhe for my nails and could not find any so bought this for my nails. I doesn't seem to be as concentrated but it does smell lovely.So three stars as per the reason I purchased this oil. I guess I am still looking for pure myrrh oil for my nails.

Should've received this item 3 days after placing order (w/the weekend). Instead, I received item the day after I ordered it!! Wasn't sure of the quality b/c Myrrh is usually pretty expensive, but purchased this based on reviews. And, boy am I glad I did! This is the real deal! Smells amazing! Will be purchasing more of my essential oils from this seller from now on!

I have not been using this very long. I bought it for its reputation in helping skin problems. It is doing a good job thus far but I expect to let it runits course over time since it is a natural "remedy" .
