Upon unboxing my new Hyperlite 100w UFO fixture I noticed some differences from my Hyperlite 150w highbay fixtures I have in my workshop. First, The power cord did not have the plug on the end of the wire like my hyperlite highbay lights did. This feature was convenient but not a deal breaker. You can install your own plug or hardwire like I did. This fixture was same rugged quality as their highbay lights. I installed the fixture and flipped the switch. Wow.....for 85$ 14k lumans of 5k white light. The light was perfect replacement for my old school 240v buzzing, slow to warm up highbay in my barn. This one was a test, but I will replace the other 3 next. My shop has 6 hyperlite highbay 150w and my barn had 4 450w old school highbays. now my barn will have the same great hyperlite white light as my shop. Thanks Hyperlite for some really great lighting.

They were super east to install for my husband! They were put up in a matter of a half an hour and that included bringing the ladder in and getting it put in the right place. The brightness is unbelievable. We have been dealing with this dark, dingy garage for 40 years. What a wonderful change to actual see what we are doing!!

i brought the original 9 - 150watt high bay lights early this winter on a friends recommendation. So glad I did!!Hyperlite reviewed my shop plan and sent me back a layout with a recommendation on which lights to use .So glad I did that , as that helped with placement and size . The lights are simply amazing and easy to install.Now they have come out with the Tale Series with a the ability to plug in a motion sensor . I was in the market for something that would come on when i walked into shop without reaching for light switch. I ordered the 100 watt and was not disappointed . In the pics , its the pic with single light.The shop is work in progress but helps to have great lighting. Its 44' X 44 ' X 16'i recommend asking them to review your shop / garage layout and following their advice. Makes it a lot easierInstall was easy on Tale 100 watt , had to place a plug on it and hang off eye bolt. You could hardwire it in , but I have outlets in ceiling. I went with the 5000 k and am so glad i did !!Thanks Hyperlite and keep making more choices !!!Joel

I tried this product in our 20 ft height industrial shop. I have been buying 150 watt hyperlite LED to replace the 400 watt high pressure sodium lamps we now have and they did great. I tried this 100 watt unit and was surprised how little difference their is from the 150 watt and it seems to be equivalent in output to 400 watt high pressure sodium. Great electrical savings. The work area is a definite whiter, crisper and cleaner look.

I put this light on my 24’X32’ garage ceiling hung at 8’ Right in the center and it lights all but the far corners very bright. I also purchased the motion sensor which simply screws in the center of the light in seconds. It can pick up motion when the garage door opens and provides light as long as movement is detected. After 5 seconds of no movement it will shut off. You can get delay times up to 5 minutes. Very easy install. You need to put a plug in on the end of the cord but they’re available at the hardware store and is easily put on with just a screwdriver after you have cut the cord to your desired length.
