Great costume with some minor fixes
I bought this costume out of desperation for multicultural day at my daughter's school. It shipped super quick and arrived next day, which was perfect as I needed it Monday and purchased Saturday. I knew when I purchased that there were complaints about the stitching in the reviews, so I was prepared to reinforce any stitching upon arrival. The print and material is beautiful. The material is thin, but not abnormally thin for satin/silky fabric, which was perfect for allowing my daughter to wear an undershirt without getting too hot. I absolutely adore this costume and bought 2 sizes, because my 19 month old is in 2T, so wasn't sure which would be best. The 1-2 year old size fit perfectly. The 2-3 year size is a couple inches longer, and the sleeves are about 1-2 inches longer. I intended to return whichever one didn't fit, but I've decided to keep both because they're so pretty.So, about the stitching, most of the stitching on this outfit is perfectly fine. The only stitching that isn't is on the plastic button snaps (2 on belt and 1 on collar) and where the pieces of the belt are put together. For the snaps on the belt, I almost feel this was intentional as the preset waist size is very small on both sizes, and they were very loosely and simply stitched on. Not every waist is the same, so I opted to replace the snaps with hook eye enclosures I happened to already own and custom fit the belt for my daughter. On the collar, I just reinforced the stitching on that snap. I also reinforced the stitching holding the pieces of the belt together.Overall, I would definitely buy again and feel it's worth $30. It wasn't difficult to do the fixes I did, but I have some experience with sewing. I feel this outfit will last a long time and can adjust the belt as needed in the future.

For the price its pretty.
For the price its pretty. Real kimonos can cost thousands of dollars, so for 30$ the color is vibrant and the pillow back support (obis) is adorable. Its made of very cheap lightweight silk material which worked great for my 1 yr old daughter who i wouldnt want wearing heavy expensive hand stitched art for Halloween. Even tho it is also her birthday and special in her ancestry ill take and keep this cheap knock off forever 👌

Poorly made! Beware of threading being undone !
Super cute. But sadly upon purchase it was literally so horribly stitched together that the waste belt was not attached to the buttons to close it and neither was the dress threads. It was coming apart!!!! 🤦🏽♀️

Cheap plastic snaps that break when you first use the dress! Such garbage for the price !

Tears easy
The belt was to tight for my toddler you can’t adjust it. I didn’t like the sequence. The plastic claps will break if you pull on it which I think is dumb if it’s for toddlers!
