Such a amazing tasty Dolmio Bolognese Garlic and Onion Sauce
I always buy Dolmio Bolognese Sauce, but I particularly like this garlic and onion sauce. Added to mince beef it makes for such a delicious mince beef Bolognese sauce with spaghetti and a topping of mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese. The quality of the sauce is truly delicious and it is great value for money.

Very nice tasty sauce
Very nice sauce. I usually cook in large quantities so I supplement this with a can of chopped tomatoes and it extends the sauce extremely well.

Actually this is pretty okay for a jarred sauce
Actually this is pretty okay for a jarred sauce. It's basically a rich tomato sauce...but whether it's the perfect match for meatballs is another matter. To be honest it would work with pretty much anything really. Bolognese even. We tried it with Richmond meatballs (frozen) which take 12 mins to heat through in the hot tomato sauce. We had a bed of shredded steamed savoy cabbage with gnocchi on top then the meatballs with this sauce over the gnocchi and a bit of grated parmesan. Very enjoyable indeed. I'll make it again for sure. Maybe if it had a bit more onion in it it would have got 5 stars. I think i'd also be tempted to add some finely chopped pepperoni to the sauce to lift the flavour. Next time maybe.

A tasty, tomato based pasta sauce.
A perfectly fine pasta sauce.Although it is labelled as a Bolognese sauce, it is equally happy as an accompaniment to any pasta. It is a 'Onion and Garlic' flavoured sauce, but don't expect it to have a strong taste of either. They are in there, but the taste is subtle, particularly the garlic. I always add a few extra cloves of my own.Ingredients wise, it is, as you would expect, mainly tomatoes (a total of 88%).With onions at 6%, and the rest being made from sugar, salt and flavourings.Sugar is 6.3%. Not the lowest, but a reasonable medium level.Salt is a little high at 0.69%. So bear that in mind. It's states 'No artificial colours, flavours or preservatives', which can only be a good thing. It is suitable for vegetarians, but doesn't mention vegans.Overall, this is a tasty, tomato based sauce that makes a good basis for any pasta dish. But, don't be afraid to add your own herbs and spices to bring it to another level.I hope you found this review helpful.

Altered taste
As an adult I liked it however the veggies alter the taste quite a bit so the kids noticed and they didn't like it. I don't think you can fool your children with this. The original definiitely tastes better
