I ordered this battery along with Tenergy Universal Smart Charger for NiMH/NiCd Battery Packs (6V - 12V) Perfect for RC or Airsoft Battery Packs --- NEW!.When I opened the package yesterday, I was surprised to receive 3 battery packs. Perhaps it was a bonus for ordering both at the same time. Anyway, the charger is definitely worth it instead of charging from the RC car which has no lights. As for the quality of the battery packs, I concur with all the others who gave it five stars.I went back to "View this order," on Amazon and both items say "Sold by: Battery Superstore," -- if I click on the items from inside my order, the battery pack says "by Tenergy," and the charger says "by Palco Sports."Whether I get one or three, I'd still order both again if I had to. Make sure you charge on the lower setting only and slip the charger's temperature sensor underneath the battery's plastic wrap so the sensor is tight against the battery while charging.

Battery works great for XMODS 2013 RC buggy. The car is much quicker with the Tenergy battery pack than with AA alkaline batteries, and runs a long time on a charge. I won't be able to try any drain tests until the all this snow melts so I can run it outside. There is a fairly quick discharge when not in use, in <2wks, maybe sooner. These aren't advertised as any sort of "low discharge" battery, so I believe that is to be expected. However, the short storage life does detract somewhat from the usability, since the battery pack requires full charging first, after leaving it for a week or two, hence the 4 stars. It would be interesting to know how that compares to LiOn/LiPo. Perhaps I've been spoiled by the long charge life yet high power of Sanyo Eneloop's, for other applications (e.g. - SLR external flash).

Wow, this battery has a lot of power. My son was given an old Radio Shack monster truck and the battery would die within about 5 minutes It is a huge truck with giant rubber tires. It had the original radio shack 600mah battery and charger. Purchased this battery and he got bored with the truck before it ever ran out of battery power. It was still going strong after at least an hour of playing. And I had no issues charging the battery with my existing radio shack charger.

Surprised and happy with this purchase. Bought for use with an R/C truck. You never know what you're going to get with batteries, especially ones bought on the internet. But this one has (with repeated use) given far more time than the battery included with the original product, and at a great relative price. We'll go out and run the truck for about 15 minutes on the included battery ... and a good 30 minutes more on this battery (and that's pretty much continuous zipping around, going on hills, etc.) I was really happily surprised at the quality, and I'd buy it again.
